Needless to say, I will never, ever be going to that Poundstretcher store ever again!
I think you're wise.

Good work, pinkteddyx64!

People could become unwell by eating food that is out of date and infested with fungi and who would want to buy bed linen, table cloths or plates that are covered in cockroach faeces?

Updating this thread to say that the outside of the building that houses the terrible Poundstretcher store as originally mentioned in this thread looks much better! I haven't been inside the building for a while, so I am not quite sure if they have improved on the inside!

It looks like the perfect backdrop to an impending zombie apocalypse.

Just Google Earthed our one in York and it looks OK. Right on one of the tourist trap roads, so it must do well. Takes the yank tourists about a day to find it, then they live in there. Or from what I've seen.

We often have a very civilized picnic, buying all the comestibles in Poundland then going just behind it to the graveyard at Goodramgate.

There is probably a sliding scale of Poundlands. We don't have a Primark as the city refused them permission to drive their massive lorries up Coney St. Some advantages to being a tourist trap.
