I hate gospel music - am i racist?
I didn't vote for Voices with Soul - and never will - am I racist?

and your going on about voices of soul...if you havent noticed this thread is a WEEK old and i made this thread about last weeks performance for the 15th time..when stevie had an illness with his voice and couldnt even sing..and tabby sounded awful

now if you can look back to last week...who sung better out of voices of soul and steve who couldnt even sing a chord properly?

but voices of soul WERE in the bottom two

this week they were probably third from bottom but we will never know

end of the day...the fact still remains

in a phone vote competition...there is never a non-white winner

the winner of this competition will be white

and next year..and the next big brother

and the next pop idol

and the next "best actor" awards

how do you explain that

This week, Voices with Soul are through comfortably. So "Simply Amazing" knows that his/her argument is flushed down the toilet and wants us to talk about the racism of last weeks result. WTF???

This person has criticised every white performer on the show in his/her posts.

Maybe look at yourself before claiming that the voters are racist.

I havent had internet access for 6 weeks and today is the first day I've been online and had the chance to catch up with threads on ds.

Tbh, I cant be arsed anymore having any form of discussion re this one. me and plenty of others have put forward totally honest points of view but some people just chose to ignore everything thats said that doesnt agree with their narrow viewpoint.

I'm actually playing Angie Stone as I type this post. Thing is, I LOVE r&b/soul and always have but i can not stand VWS. Obviously I'm selective with my unconcious racism.

can you show me where i have criticised every white performer? i havent said anything bad about anyones performance this week..so erm your wrong

and how do you know if they went through confortable? we dont know how many votes they got..and kate said the bottom 4 had about 4% between them

i only said about steve LAST week...and thats because he had an ILLNESS..he couldnt sing..

but he got through because people dont vote for talent but looks

like i said before this thread is a week old..try looking at the date of it

there is no such thing as a race card you DUMBASS

its only an ignorant response to non-white people from white people who just dont want to deal with the situation and its an easy way out

The term 'coloured' is considered racist by many black people - especially in the UK, the USA and South Africa. Perhaps it's not considered offensive in your own community but it's extremely unwise to assume that others will feel similarly.
