Evening everyone.

Ok, this may be going over old ground slightly as this is going back to posts earlier in the week but I was unable to respond until now.

I'm not cynical for the sake of it, despite how it may seem. How I articulate or express my views and opinions hasn't especially changed since I joined here, but the situation I give my views and opinions on within this thread has changed. While my thoughts on John have continued to receive a consistant response my opinions of Josie are apparently less welcome. Is this because what I am saying is wrong or because I'm talking about Josie? Am I expressing an agreeable point of view when I'm pulling John up on something but doing something terribly out of order when pulling up Josie?

Granted, I have posted more cynically about Josie in recent months than I have John but only due to Josie doing more things in public. Has my cynicism been unjustfied? As I mentioned last week, I posted my doubts that Josie and Luke would go on the holiday Josie mentioned in her column last year. I'm sure it caused an eye-roll or few (I'm assuming so, anyway, the post was removed after all) and yet my cynicism was proved right.

Also last weekend I explained why Josie's column (about Luke and his new teeth and muscles) would be open to criticism. Was that cynical or just being realistic?

When John and Josie split I did not take sides. In fact, I still haven't actually taken a side. I've said before that my support for John simply remained the same when that for Josie fell away after a series of things she said or did. If my cynicism towards Josie has grown it's because she's given me no reason to clip it back.

I'm still waiting though. I'm open to having my mind changed. I wouldn't still be hanging around here if I was in mind to dismiss her completely.
Evening Kelly, It was me last week that asked about, why you thought Josie and Luke would not go away together and I wasn't trying to antagonise you I was I was genuinely interested why you thought this, and I think that a lot of us have became more cynical in the last 18 months especially regarding John and Josie xx

Hi.

No you're fine, I wasn't referring to your post. You didn't antagonise me at all.

I should say, no-one antagonised me as such. It was just a point that I saw earlier in the week and I was just unable to get back to it until tonight.

I guess my cynicism towards Josie is stronger because of certain circumstances.

Hey Kelly,

This post is indirectly directed at me it seems, so I feel obligated to reply even though I don't really want to dredge this all up again.

I don't think you are cynical for the sake of it. I guess your posts towards John are more freely accepted and agreed with and even welcomed amongst us because we DO appreciate John, like yourself. Your posts about Josie are not less welcomed - but if you post something that others disagree with then of course they will speak up. Especially by those who still appreciate Josie, like myself. Which is why I am here because I still like the little blighters too much!

I don't recall seeing you bring John up on something.. but that may be because I mostly skim these days - due to busy bumblebee blogging. I don't object to you saying anything you like about Josie or having any opinions that you have. I don't begrudge you having a voice either and I'm truly not trying to suppress you or make you feel uncomfortable. It isn't terrible to bring Josie up on something, plenty of people do so here .. what I have sometimes not liked so much in some of your posts is that it SEEMS that you have such disdain for her (I saw your twitlonger to her too) .. I don't know if that is the case or just the way I (and others) are interpreting them sometimes. I come here to chat amongst friends and be appreciative of both.

All I can say is, that even if I disagree with your views about and towards Josie - I have never once alerted you. I don't want there to be bad blood between us and it feels like there is.. and I know that is my fault as I always pick at your posts when I shouldn't. I do see some of your points sometimes (which may come as a surprise) and I know Josie is by no means perfect. I just don't have reasons to be cynical towards her personally.

I always look forward to reading what you have to say anyway - even if what you post may be the exact opposite to how I feel on the matter at a particular time. It is nice to have some healthy debate and discussion on the thread so I hope that we can continue to do this on friendly terms. I really don't have anything against you and wouldn't like you to think that I am deliberately trying to be nasty towards you as I'm honestly not.

Keep posting, I do enjoy your musings and I know there are lots of other people on here who do too xx

Just slow on the uptake when it comes to rehashing articles of their own or interviews in other publications! I don't think there was any motive behind it.. other than to perhaps keep Josie's name out there this week before her episode of Celeb wedding planner. I've only watched the Jedward one so far and really liked it!! Can't wait to see Josie's ep it looks brilliant and it was nice to read that The wright stuff had said Josie was a natural in their review.

Has anyone else seen Kerry's ep or the apprentice guys? Are they worth watching or am I not missing anything?

Watched Kerry's and it was good. The wedding was ok and the hotel was near me. Not as spectacular as Jedwards. Didnt watch the two off Apprentice as I cant stand Biggs but I will watch Josies although I can imagine it being OTT as she is more fun than me. Have seen her dress choice and liked that though.

Hello all hope you are well had a bit of bad news so I have been wallowing in self pity for a week . I had a word with myself and got stuck into redesigning the lounge new curtains wallpaper cushions and paint. Of course the actual decorating will be done by Jim well you don't get a dog and bark yourself lol . My part in the proceedings has been the choosing and buying and a bit of stripping ( the wall paper kind )
I have been watching CBB and it is quite fascinating much better than last years.
