**Breaking News**

BBC Director General Mark Thompson has confirmed reports that Eastenders Executive Producer Brian Kirkwood has parted company with Eastenders. Kirkwood has been at Eastenders since 2010. Kirkwood reintroduced Alfie and Kat Moon and brought in new characters like Eddie Moon, played by David Essex, without much success. Kirkwood came in for a lot of criticism following the baby swap story-line.

His replacement will be former Emmerdale Executive Producer Keith Richardson.

Lucyfollows Mandy and watches on as she enters a hotel room with a mystery man. Tanya considers putting Booty up for sale. Abi tries to rekindle her romance with Jay. Tyler and Antony take Tommy to the playground.

New Arrival On The Square

Ex Bill and Dancing on Ice man Gary Lucy will join Eastenders as part of a blackmail story-line, the BBC press office has revealed.

Lucy will play Lewis Davidson who is at the center of the Blackmail story line.

Lucy tells Lauren about Mandy. Lauren tells Lucy to not do anything silly as she could have the wrong end of the stick. Tanya puts Booty on the market. Heather asks Andrew to move in with her and George.

Eastenders boss Keith Richardson has revealed the arrival of a brand new family in the spring set to become Soap's first lesbian family.

Ex Bill star Lisa Maxwell will play the new GP Suzanne Greenwood.
Waterloo Road's Eva Pope will play her partner Jasmine Winter.
CBBC Child actor Richard Wisker will play son Jake Greenwood.
Fellow CBBC star Mia Sasha McKenna-Bruce will have the part of Molly Greenwood.

Lucy spots Mandy snogging Lewis. Max finds out about Tanya trying to sell Booty and tries to convince her not to. Alfie cooks a suprise lunch for Kat but she's no where to be seen. Derek tells Ray to stay away from his family. Andrew moves in with Heather and George.

Derek slashes Ray's tires with a bread knife. Jack and Roxy fight over Roxy's rights to see Amy. Amy get's scared and runs off. Jay asks Abi out on a date to the Arjhee-Barjhee.

Syed asks Tamwar to move in with him. Zainab and Masood worry about Tamwar and Afia. Amira tells Afia that Tamwar needs a break. Much to Derek's disapproval, Bianca and Morgan go on a day trip to Brighton with Ray. Mandy confesses to Lucy that she has been cheating on Ian with Lewis. Alfie and Jean worry when Kat stays out all night.

Tuesday 14th February 2012

It's Valentines day but love is definitely not in the air.Fatboy takes Whitney to the Arjhee - Barjhee but Fatboy's is shocked when Whitney asks just to be friends. Fatboy immediately suspects Whitney of cheating on him with Tyler so he confronts Tyler in the Vic. Tyler and Fatboy fight leaving Whitney horrified. Lucy tells Mandy she'll keep her secret from Ian and Bobby but it comes at a price of £1,000. Tamwar moves in with Syed. Afia breaks down as he packs his bags. Derek tells Carol he does not want Ray near his niece. Carol defends Ray. Derek threatens to kill him. Ian tells Ben to forget about Christian and move on. Ian agrees to take Ben to the West End leaving Lucy feeling neglected. Kat returns home to the relief of Alfie, Jean and Mo.

Mandy tells Lucy she does not have £1,000. Tamwar opens up to Syed about Afia. Tamwar tells Syed he cannot love the daughter of someone who tried to kill his mother. Tanya takes Booty of the market. Dot looks after a devastated Fatboy. Denise taunts Shirley about Philbeing in prison. Billy pays Phil a visit in prison.

Lucy demands £1000 from Mandy. Mandy says Ian is not worth £1000 and that she is going to Benidorm with Lewis. Mandy tells Ian that Lucy has been blackmailing her. Ian asks what about and Mandy tells him the truth, that she's been unfaithful and that she's leaving with Lewis. Ian begs Mandy to stay. Mandy tells Ian that she never loved him and she only wanted his money. Ian bursts into tears and Bobby comforts him. Mandy leaves Walford with Lewis. Ian cries as they leave. Bobby waves goodbye.

Julia's theme: Mandy leaves with Lewis and Bobby and Ian say a tearful goodbye.

Monday 20th February 2012

Ian is devastated and has barely spoke let alone left the house since Mandy left. Lucy can't care less and tells Lauren as far as she is concerned Mandy was just one in a long list of women to fade in and out of the Beale houshold. But Bobby is concerned about his Dad. When Jane takes Bobby to the park he tells her about Mandy leaving and how upset his Ian is. Jane decides to call Peter and tell him his Dad and brother need him. Afia tells Zainab that she is going to Pakistan for a few weeks. Syed tells Masood that Tamwar feels responsible for Yusef's abuse towards Zainab. Rose and Cora pay Whitney a visit to tell her how upset Fatboy is. Kat and Alfie grow further apart when Alfie asks where she was the other night. Phil arranges for Ben to be beaten up by two boys from school.Billy arranges Lola's first scan for next week.
