Peter arrives in the square much to the Beale household's shock. Ian tells Peter that Lucy pushed Mandy away. Peter tells him to calm down and says that she was way out of his league anyway. Ian insists that they loved each other before Lucy came back. Ian orders Lucy out of his house. Antony and Tyler go out for lunch but Tyler has to go home and lye down because he has a very very bad headache. Christian asks to move back in with Syed. But Syed tells him Tamwar needs space and he is his main concern. Rose puts an advert up for a new G.P in the Square's surgery. But talk of the new advert reminds Zainab of Yusef's abuse. She tells Masood she is still frightened that he will come back and hurt her. The advert slows down Tamwar's mental recovery.

Following Lucy being kicked out of the Beale household by Ian Lucy begs Lauren to take her in. Lauren tells Lucy she doesn't have a room and it would be too stressful for Tanya. Lucy is in the square when Lola offers her a drink and a room the night. Billy is glad that Lola has made a friend but is concerned this may encourage her to drink whilst pregnant. Ben is beaten up whilst on his way to school. He immediately suspects Phil of having some involvement with the incident. Carol and Bianca ask Ray to move in with them and the kids. Liam feels that Ray is trying to replace his Dad. Derek takes advantage and teams up with Liam to stop Ray from moving in. Rose receives notice of an application for the vacant GP's position from a lady called Suzanne Greenwood. Afia leaves for 3 weeks to travel around Asia.

Lola meets Peter and they immediately are attracted to each other. Lucy is jealous and suggests that Lola and her paint the town red tonight. Lola tells Lucy that she is pregnant and cannot drink. Lucy tells her that a little drink won't hurt her. Lola eventually agrees and the pair head off. Tyler has another bad headache and is violently sick. Antony tells Tyler that it is just a bad hangover and that he will get over it. Tamwar finally speaks to his family and asks if he can move back in now that Afia is gone. Zainab is delighted and immediately says yes. Janine and Michael head out shopping for baby clothes but when Michael's credit cards are refused She asks him whether he only loves her for his money. They end up falling out and Michael spends the night on the sofa at the vic. Kat is annoyed with Alfie for letting him stay. Suzanne introduces herself to the square as the new GP.

Heather and Andrew take George to play group. They go out for lunch together. But it doesn't end well when Andrew tells Heather that he needs to go away on business to Glasgow until Friday. She reluctantly agrees as they need the money. Andrew sets off and she says goodbye. When she goes to collect George from play group he has a cut on his face. She is told by another parent that Amy Mitchell did the same to her daughter. Heather then confronts Jack and tells him he can't control his daughter. Jack and Derek order Heather out of there house. Derek warns Heather not to accuse his family of wrong doing ever again. Meanwhile the new GP Suzanne prepares to move in to the flat above the surgery. Tyler experiences more headaches before dropping a box of antique garden gnomes at the emporium. Kat tells Alfie Michael must go but Mo says Michael should stay as he's the father of her son.

Comic and actor Ed Petrie and Former Pop Star Siobhan Donaghy are to join EastEnders as Shane Yorke and Eve Brown. They will play a couple who have been squatting in the Square's Surgery. They will be taken in by a resident on the square but they are not all as they seem.
Gary Oldman is to have a temporary role in EastEnders Keith Richardson has confirmed. The Hollywood actor who is the younger brother of Albert Square favorite Laila Morse (Mo Harris) is said to have been convinced to join the show by his sister. He will play Alcoholics Anonymous leader Lee O'Neill. He will have a very big story-line which will run into 2013. His first scenes will air in April.

John Bardon will return to his role as Jim Branning the BBC have revealed. His scenes will air over a week in March. This will be the last we see of Jim. His story-line will be heart breaking and moving for all.
The BBC have commissioned a special one off 'Farewell Jim' spin off episode similar to the ones of Pat and Peggy.

Preeya Kalidas (Amira Masood), Matt Lapinskas (Antony Moon) and Meryl Fernandes (Afia Masood) will leave EastEnders. Preeya and Matt will leave in early April and Meryl will leave in June.
The EastEnders disaster has been moved to May to accommodate for other story-lines. The only information that has been revealed is the disaster will kill at least two characters.
Early March will see book club reunited by Jane, Herself, Tanya, Zainab, Bianca, Denise and Shirley will return to the club whilst Cora and Kim will spice up the mix.

Heather falls out with Denise and Zainab when Denise wrongly accuses Heather of stealing from the Minute Mart. Heather says she would never do such a thing. But when Zainab labels her a greedy cow Heather lashes out at her. Denise tells Heather she better watch her back. Elsewhere Lola's first baby scan reveals that her baby is not developing at the rate it should be. The nurse tells Lola this could be because of drinking. Billy angrily shouts at the nurse for suggesting that Lola was harming her own baby and calls the nurse unprofessional. Suzanne and Rose open up the surgery to find that there are two people living inside. They identify themselves as Shane and Eve, they say that they have been made redundant and have become homeless. Rose takes them to Dot. Dot offers them a warm meal and a sofa for the night. Kat tells Alfie that they are over. Alfie is not furious however, he tells her it has been a long time coming. Morgan and Ray go to the park together. Where they bond.

Jay and Heather talk about Ben. Heather defends the troubled teen and says he is just upset and has led a very unfortunate life. Jay refuses to listen and Heather and he tells her that Ben is scum. Heather tells Jay that he is just defending Phil because he is scared of him. Jay tells Heather she better watch herself making accusations like that. Dot, Cora and Rose get to know Shane and Eve more and find out that they were in the army but lost there jobs. Kat, Tommy, Mo and Jean pack their bags and move out of the Vic to no. 23 and Antony and Tyler move in to the Vic. Alfie feels lonely without Kat. Lola flirts with Peter making Lucy jealous that Lola is giving Peter more attention than her. The Masoods plan to re-open Masala-Masood. Kim and Patrick are overjoyed when the insurance company payout for the fire, building work will begin next week.
