Does anyone else feel that the pauses between the announcements of the winners or losers in both X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing are getting ridiculous?

They didn't do it in Pop Idol until the final when Will won.

Now not only do you have a never-ending pause but a commercial break

Yeah, instead of building the tension, and we are all supposed to be waiting with baited breath, it's just bloody annoying. The guy on The Farm which has just finished was one of the worst.
