Has to be Voices with soul for me, I think if they had been up against any one else they would have gone tonight.
Just cant even watch them. I thought Tabby was a poor man Anislie Henderson from FA1 but gonnna give him a chance as he could get better, 2to Go were a suprise and I hope they get some better song choices in the next few weeks. Loved G4 and Rowetta and Steve was very brave (no Rik Waller is he) to even have a go. I really enjoyed the whole show very good first live show and I bet it will only get better.

I think people are going to start going off G4 in a week or two. That's my prediction after they destroy a couple of more good songs.

It would have to be G4. They drained one of my favourite songs of any emotion, making it sound bloody awful.

That's what I feel about them. They can't do 'emotion' in that way with songs like Everybody Hurts. It was awful. Even worse than Creep.

And once ve rid ze vorld of G4, it vill be time to make a move on zat drrrrreadful Irishman.

I think the only thing going for her last night WAS her singing.
As for the rest she can hardly be accountable for that, last week Sharon says you sound like a woman in a little girls body, we need to bring out the woman, so they promptly forced her to cut her hair ( she looks even MORE like CC with that finge) and dressed her up to look like Oliver Twist?????

Verity, without a doubt! I can't believe she didn't go last night to be honest. She was awful. Lovely lady and all that but the sympathy vote can only last for so long. Voices with Soul - how did they end up in the bottom two before Verity? Not surprised at Roberta. Beautiful but she admitted herself that she didn't sing well and there was just no personality in her performance either.

Have to agree. I had high hopes of G4, but felt last night was very disappointing.

The thing about Verity for me, was she sang that song with great projection, tone and feeling (much more power than I'd expected from her auditions). However her nerves got the better of her and she was out of key for a lot of the song. Maybe a more low key song next week, to bring out her voice?, but in the end, if she cant control her nerves or use them to her advantage then she probably shouldnt be in this business now anyway. She was still my fourth fav though. Ill give her another chance next week, I hope she pulls it out of the bag. If she keeps in tune then her tone and projection will make her sound great imo.

Oops, I accidentally voted for Voices With Soul when I meant to vote for G4. Not sure I can take much more of them giving the formulaic G4 treatment to any more good songs.

This post reminds me of so many, many posts about Susanne Manning last year. Chance after chance....all about nerves...no more Vee...pleeeeeease?
