She was cronic and that is putting it nicely.

Clearly the worst, i am just mistified as to who voted for her.

Maybe it is rigged by Simon.

I totally agree. I couldn't understand how she'd got to this stage, but she really was atrocious tonight. The song was completely unsuitable for her, but singing that out of tune is just not pleasant!

Don't be stupid bananaskin, Verity won't win , no way , but you talk about singing and every one of those artists could sing tonight with the exception of one. ....TABBY........

Just because he looks like a pop star doesn't mean he is a pop star, and as far as being rigged by Simon goes he was the only one who was objective in his opinions tonight and not acting like a silly spiteful child. I have no doubt that Louis would have put out whichever of Simons acts , if one of them was in the bottom two, at least Simon was fair, if he was spiteful he would have put out Voices with Soul after Louis ridiculous and hurtful comments

I think what Simon has sussed is the demographics of the audience. Remember that the great British public voted Michelle as a POP idol !

Verity has the voice that could sell records, and remember it is mainly over 30s these days that buy CDs. Who is watching this show ? I'll give you a clue, the majority of young people are out at pubs and clubs on Saturday and that is why Verity and Steve got through tonight.

That was a bad song for Verity. I think if she gets to sing a more delicate country and western tune it will make her shine.

Don't count her out just yet.

100% agreed my man!

He rocked the house, his performance was electric, so was the song, but his voice was very weak, out of key, and, as Simon said, flat. He has a rocker attitude and look but not voice, hes a poor singer and if he has to sing a slow song he'll definately be up for the chop!

As for Verity, I love her and shes one of my favourites! She deserves this and he voice is melodic and soothing.

Verity was SOOOO shit, she was flat and lacked emotion. I think old women with similar marriages who felt they could identify with her voted.

mmmmmm me thinks verity might be sleeping in daddy bears bed! lmao

Verity has a terrific voice and a lot of charm. She clearly lacks confidence in herself and her nerves came through tonight. She has an incrediblly sweet soulful voice and once she gets the right song to sing, she will truly shine.

I'm sure Verity is a wonderful woman and Simon always looks like he'd like to whisk her off to his town mansion and protect her...Unfortunately the song was a little bit big for her and she hit plenty of flat notes.

Verity seems like a very nice woman, but her singing tonight was dire and she did indeed hit many flat notes. i really cannot spot what Simon seens in her - only the thought that he can milk a sympathy vote out of her for weeks on end. Im sure there's not a fix, but she should have been in the bottom two, surely?
