Blackberry Bold 9900
Hi!
I am thinking of buying an unlocked / locked Blackberry Bold 9900 in the not too distant future, and I would like to know if anyone has any comments / that happen, such as freezing etc Also, is it possible to copy vcf contacts from a micro SD card to the mobile easily? I take it I would require BIS added to my account. |

Hi,
I have a Bold 9900 and love it. BUT I do have one major complaint. The battery life isn't anywhere like as good as my previous BlackBerry. I am quite a heavy user, and find that it will top out at 2 days use, ideally you need to charge it every night. Previously I could get 4-5 days out of my phone. Other than battery life, the operation is nice and smooth, it has a 1.2ghz CPU which is more than fast enough for the BlackBerry operating system. The keyboard on it is lovely. Definitely the best BB keyboard I have used, and the combination with the brilliant touchscreen is nice. I shouldn't think you'd have any problem copying your contacts that way, it can open vcf files that I receive by email and add them into the contacts just fine. You would need BIS yes, most operators offer a blackberry bolt on for about £5/month including 1gb of data (or similar) |
