Feeding the birdies.
Do any of use feed birds sultanas or raisins etc if so were are you finding the cheapest places to buy them from ? since last year the price of bags of said stuff has more than doubled.

Home bargains, poundstretchers or mix your own. Don't forget water - its lovely watching them drink and bathe.

I get the raisins & sultanas from Aldi - about 79p a bag. It was either Poundworld or Home Bargains that had mealworms for 99p before christmas too - absolute bargain. Pets at Home has bags of suet pellets half price too at the moment.

cheers for the replys the fruit is already soft and quite wet but if it gets hard i will soak it.

You could mix it with lard, crushed peanuts, mealworms, cheese and some seed. They love it.
