Your favourite so far?
I'm going for Jill Halfpenny and the Sarah Manners!, the people I most dislike are Julian and Carol Vorderman!

I like Roger Black and Denise Lewis. Both good movers and classy with it!
I also like Anton de Beck as a dancer and think Esther Rantzen is a good sport to have a go at this kind of thing. Phat Avenger, I can't stick Carol Vorderman either. Natasha would be a lot better if she did not simper. She has the looks, the figure, the line in polished chat.... but oh those sheep-eyed looks she gives

I thought I was the only one, everyone I've spoke to has been like "how can you not like her, she's really nice" I did feel a bit sorry for her tonight though, it looked like she wanted full attention on her but she wasn't getting it! Or maybe I'm wrong she does seem to do a bit of charity work and this is for Children in Need...

I think Diarmuid Gavin is great anyway so maybe I'm a little biased. I loved that he looked like he enjoyed it so much, although he needs a little work with the actual dancing bit
I want him to stay in - I'd really love to see him improve. Was almost crying with laughter all the way through his dance (in a good way though, not in a laughing AT him way) I'm afraid I had to vote for him - apologies to all those who think we should be voting for the best dancers every time. |

I too liked Denise and Roger the best, although Aled Jones danced well. Didn't like Jill Halfpenny but I don't know why (perhaps it's because she's from a soap!)

Denise Lewis - extremely good so far. Julian Clary needs to loosen up a bit, Roger Black did well in the Latin, but I think Esther is going to bomb in the Latin, she is not supple enough for the movements.

I don't dislike any of them really, but do get a bit fed up with the over-exposure of Carol Vorderman. If I have to pick favourites, it would be Julian and Jill.

Do you mean Mr Diurmuid Gavin, theres no need to be nasty about any of them after all it's only a bit of fun and they are non of them that good anyway, my personal favourite is Aled Jones but I don't mind which of them go or stay they all seem to have entered into the spirit of things and if you want to just watch professionals then lobby the Beeb to have a show that just features them

Yes, I meant Diurmuid. I have a habit of calling him by his surname (I do the same with Kaplinski).
I'm not being nasty. But I was rather hacked off at the last series when Christopher Parker was kept in until the end, and other more talented people went out earlier. And to be honest, I think Diurmuid's partner is finding the whole thing very frustrating. It's not fair on her to keep him in the competition. It's so frustrating for the poor girl. I would like Esther and Anotn to say in a bit longer. I doubt they'll win, but Anton is such a pleasure to watch. I loved him with Lesley too. I would rather watch him than Gavin. Thing is, the dancers I find most entertaining and warm to are not necessarily the most talented. I can't summon up any enthusiasm for either Denise and Ian or Jill and Darren and yet I suspect they are currently the best couples. I was a Natasha and Brendan fan last series and I think he should have left it at that. I am really enjoying Aled and Lilia and Julian and Erin and want them both to do well. I love Anton Du Beke but doubt he's got much of a chance this series with Esther. He's becoming a bit of a budding TV presenter though isn't he ? Perhaps they will let him co-present the "Take Two" programme with Claudia if he gets voted off.

I'm loving Aled's work - he's quite talented. And he seems to be enjoying it. Julian still seems nervous, but his Quick Step was pretty good. The ballroom will always be slightly easier because of the hold - it's easier for the pros to lead than with the latin numbers.
I think I will start to lose interest once Anton & Esther go out. |

Got to agree that i think Brendan should have left it after winning the first series. As this time looks like it could be a disaster for him!

I love watching Diarmuid Gavin
![]() I think he improved a lot from week one, and although clearly not a natural dancer I want to see if he can 'get it'. As someone else said, the best dancer are not necessarily the most entertaining. Although I don't think he should win (on current form) I'd like him to stay and will (probably, but not certainly) be voting for him again on Saturday. This is one of the only shows where I think it's a shame that ANYONE has to go. I want to see them all get a chance to try all of the dances. |
