Netflix not on older Samsung Devices
Emailed samsung support about Netflix not being available in the UK for Samsung BD and TVs.
Was told that only 2011 new models would have Netflix apps available. They have not mentioned having the app later for older models ![]() It's a pity since I can imagine that there are more pre 2011 smart TV models out there. If one changes the Country code and checks the apps store it does exist but then it won't load properly and gives me a black screen. so the app does exist for older Samsung smart devices but Samsung UK doesn't support it? Any ideas if Samsung UK will ever let us (with older TVs and Blu-ray players?) have the app in the near future? |

Same old story as the 2009 models that wouldn't be getting BBCiPlayer and would only support the upcoming 2010 models.
Also exactly the same too was changing the country region to USA and seing other video streaming widgets like Blockbuster, Amazon etc and all the UK got was YouTube. Samsung only care about the newer models and seem to drop the previous models rather quickly. |

you can try to change the country code?
when your on your icons menu press fast forward + 289 + rewind this should give you a menu to select the country. Try selecting USA Let us know how it worked for you |
