No one is, the ****ing producers put him through. I dont actually dislike him but he couldnt have possibly got through with the viewers vote. When his name was called when they were announcing the result, there was a brief moment of silence. If 99% of the audience were unhappy with it, then WHO is voting for him? He was also pretty much bottom of the scoreboard, so LOADS of people would have to vote for him to make him go through.

He has a fan base, probably bigger than most on the show
Not me though, as will vote for the best, no matter who they are.

When there are lots of ties on the scoreboard results like this are more likely to happen. Bottom of the leaderboard will still have got 6 marks tonight, I certainly don't think that the producers fixed anything.

Agree
They wouldn't as could ruin them, some people never seem to agee with the public vote.

Yes, they have the same problem on Strictly. The more ties higher up the board, the more judge's placement points for those at the bottom. But he still must have got quite a few public votes and that I do not understand that given his sulkiness and poor skating draw.

Rebound vote is my guess - voters feeling sorry for the person who nearly went out last time. Heidi probably got it too but to be fair to her she was MUCH better this week and deserved to go through!

I didn't vote for him, but I do love Stand By Me and it was nice to see him dancing to that song and thinking of River Phoenix. All of the lads in the film were very good. I was born a long time after it was released in cinemas but it still has the same impact on my generation.

He can't skate, he can't dance, he sulks like a young child and still people voted for him. GBP has totally lost the plot.

I think he's quite funny to watch. He can't skate for toffee but I enjoy him. Plus I guess he dedicated it to River Phoenix, but he probably just rolled over in his grave.

I agree. Such a fanbase! Much, much bigger than Jennifer's, Sam's, Rosemary's, Sebastien's, Chico's and Matthew's...

... oh, wait, he lost to them last week and ended up in the bottom two! Oh well, let's forget that little fact, shall we?

The *real* fact is OP, he was absolutely rubbish which equals bottom of the leaderboard which equals automatic votes.

I don't think the public will like the fact he went off in a sulk and wouldn't chat to the cameras with Brooke - and the fact he had his glasses on for the result. Who does he think he is? Mark was great with how he took the result, Corey could learn a thing or ten from him. He'll be in the bottom two next week no matter how he performs or where he is in on the leaderboard - his behaviour was/is pathetic.

Bottom 2 bounce, harsh comments and bottom of the leaderboard got him safe. It's unlikely to last long. Some people get so stressed out about someone staying a week or two longer than they think is deserved, lol.

I agree. He got through tonight but he was in the skate off last week so he certainly doesn't have a rock solid vote. (and he may not have got through without all the ties this week)

I certainly don't think it was fixed - if he had been in the skate off he would not have been saved against anyone this week & last week he only got saved cos he was up against Laila.

I think he definitely lost all the votes he received tonight with his behaviour during the results show.

I certainly agree it isn't fixed. I think anyone suggesting that is a bit daft to say the least! I'm pretty sure ITV wouldn't risk fixing the votes (although they certainly try to manipulate the outcome) on such a high profile show. It's just not worth it for them to do such a thing these days.

I don't think he'll survive a skate off against anyone now after last night. To be honest, the show seems a bit fed up with him and I don't blame them. He's 100% gone next week in my eyes. No need to worry for my faves

I don't vote, but if I did I would vote for Corey!

First reason - I'm a BIG Corey fan! (like a fan of his movies) The Lost Boys is my ultimate favourite film, joint with War Horse I couldn't believe it when I heard he was going to be on DOI!

Second reason - He's the only one I enjoy watching apart from Sam, Mark and Chico, but now Mark's gone

Do you mean Chris's face?
I would like to know who is voting for him, he is dreadful and I know they both looked shocked at the low scores , I actually thought they would get lower to be honest.
The pro is not good at her ice dancing I don't think. He routines are so boring. Maybe I am being a little unfair to her but she is not pushing him enough, he thinks he is too big and that is what annoys me that he has got through again.

Not Me, thought the wrong two were in the skate-off,

his attitude during the marking & comments were enough to put me off him & his reaction to Phil's strand (phil mentioned on TM that corey's fans went for him on twitter for that). He then did that triad on twitter, making himself even more pitiful, (which I don't think celebs should use till after the show), though everyone else did one tweet, then waited till after the results to tweet more

I get the impression he thinks he's too big for his pro partner. They don't seem to gel to me. I noticed Frankie talking to him during some backstage footage. Maybe encouraging him or something?

I don't think it's very fair to blame the pro partner. If someone is unwilling to put the hours in and make very little effort, there's nothing the pro partners can really do. I'm sure she's frustrated that he's ruining this experience for her, and could even cost her getting signed up next year one way of another - that's if she even wants to come back. I wouldn't blame her if she's been scared off for life having to put up with people like that on what's meant to be a fun, entertainment show.

Yes, because it'd be much better a person who is actually LOVING the full experience, and is trying really hard to improve, should go over someone who clearly can't be bothered.

I think it's pretty clear the backstage team are fed up with him due to him not making enough effort.

Nah I think Rosemary Conley has more fans. Although they are a different demographic. A generation of people have lost fat from their hips and thighs due to her.
