Results Show/itv2 Covererage Too Long - Do You Agree?

The only entertaining programme was the main show on ITV.
The two shows on itv2 and the results show on itv1 were just too long, too repetitve.
Ben Shepherd promised us 'backstage secrets'
All we got to see was Simon getting into a strop cos Ben barged in on him having his make-up done, and boring interviews with relatives who seemed to give one word answers......

The results show consisted of 38 mins of waffle and adverts, and 5 minutes of performing both acts again.

(Thank god Rod Stewart was on BBC1)
Good old ITV - stringing it out to make sure the advertisers get their monies worth. So next week i'm avoiding the ITV2 show as it is too boring

Am I on my own with this opinion?

I agree it was over long, the show needs streamlining, the final resullts show should be shortened to half an hour,it was the first week though and hopefully they will learn from their mistakes! That show on ITV 2 in between is a pointless affair to.

Totally disagree. I'm a sad, obsessive person who can't get enough of the show.

I agree, the ITV2 shows are quite crap IMO, I watched the Friday one too and that was boring.

The main ITV1 shows are superb though, but yes 30 mins for the results show would be ample IMO

I don't have ITV2 so the two shows in Saturdays do me fine. I think I'd get sick of it with more than those two.

I tend to flick back and forwards to the ITV2 shows as some parts can get very boring and repetitive

The Friday night ITV2 show was pointless and very amateurish. I would imagine that there was a hastily arranged production meeting after the shambles which was the first show.

The Saturday night ITV2 shows were okay. Simon's bird was useless at interviewing though.

The ITV1 results show was far too long drawn out.

The ITV2 shows have always been crap since the days of Pop idol. Terri (simon's girlfriend) only got in because simon was the one producing the show, she is a shit "presenter" and should just go back to modeliing or waiting on Simon.

Awwwww, I liked Terri. She seemed so nice.

I agree the ITV2 shows were pure padding. Ben Shepherd isn't a good enough or charismatic enough host to carry this. He's too bland and dull. If he had more about him, he could make the show his own, but alas he won't. They should therefore reduce the running time on ITV2.

I agree. The guy is obviousy there to provide some eye-candy or something. But he lacks charisma and cham. i find him quite boring and tiresome. The ITV2 shows always tend to be dull and never what they promise initially.

I agree, Ben is so boring. I think the Pop Idol extra shows were much better when Kate presented them, she deserves to present the main ITV1 show of X Factor!
