Rehearsels ~ Is it just me
tawe
23-01-2012
I have always enjoyed DOI But I have become more and more bored with the clips of them in training and rehearsels and hearing how bad things have gone, then on final night everythings hunky dorey and goes well.
Is it just me thats getting sick of hearing the same hype week in week out ?

Every bloody contestant seems to have the same comments when they show them practising and its just becoming so boring every week and like a stuck record .
I get fed up watching last night and switched over to BBC for Call the Midwife which I really enjoyed

No, you're not alone. They are incredibly boring to watch

One of the reasons I record the show and fast forward past these bits. I've now got a 2 hour show down to just 35 minutes (sometimes less)! And the skate off, I just fast forward to 25 minutes into the show.

I agree as well - too much yabber yabber yabber and it's virtually the same for every contestant every week in every flippin' series!!!

I think we've all got the message by now - skating with tricks etc is not easy; the celebs are beginners so they will all have "a difficult week" and nearly all of them at some time or other will fall and hurt a rib or two......

I think we should be thankful that we still get training VTs. SCD has abandoned these for silly gimmicky stuff. I hope DOI doesn't go down this route.

Hear, hear! The Strictly VTs are dreadful.

I'm glad we get the training VTs, but they need find some other angle than the predictable "this is really hard, will they manage it?" one. A bit of time explaining what is required of the big move is fine, including some of the technical aspects and what makes it tricky, or being really radical, talk through the tricky, if not dangerous, step sequence.
