Best manager by far, Simon Cowell
Inspiration

Thinking about how the contestants must feel right now, I have to say Simons three surely must be the happiest and most appreciated.

Sharon I think made an early mistake in using her family name to try and bring her group together. "You're an Osbourne now".. right.. but I'm not too sure what point there was in that. These kids are individuals who right now need to find their individuality, not to be branded an Osbourne because their mum has her own TV show and famous rocker husband. That said, i'm sure it made them feel at home. But I just feel there is no personal touch between them and Sharon. She seems to use her helpers alot more and the fact she spent most of Saturday night taking digs at Simon rather than being their 100% for her act, I'm not so sure will work. I mean if you'd just sang your heart out, for the first time, LIVE infront of millions, and your 'manager' was stood next to you taking digs at Simon Cowell rather than hugging you and holding your hand up.. what would you feel?

Louis is okay I guess but he has a far easier job with the groups. They will help each other emotionally because they are more than one person, so all he has to do is say the right things, make them sing in tune and remind them he managed west life or whoever.

Simon I feel is by far doing the best job. The fact he had 1 on 1 interviews with his 5 people at his house said it all. He was going, right from the start, for personal, honest, and open. And I'm sure with the older people that will pay him back in a huge way. They will feel he believes in them and in turn they will repay him with performances.

So imho, Simon is doing the best job. And thats why all 3 of his acts are in next weeks show.

As much as I love him, I think Simon has picked people who will appeal to people, not really fab singers. Rowetta is a great singer, but her personality is also winning people over. I couldn't abide her over-emotional stuff....now I just it as 'Rowetta'. No one group will like Rowetta - lots of people will.

Steve is very 'cutesy handsome' with that little boy, melting grin thing he does. Going for the female vote there.

Verity - I think he's playing on his 'flirtations' with her. It's all a game....people may wish to see more of it...is Terri annoyed? Is Simon really attracted to Verity? Etc, etc. Even I am believing in the sympathy vote here! But then, I believe Verity has no talent to speak of. If you like her, you'll believe that Vee is through because she can sing.

i agree with simon being the better manager.
although, i feel we don't get to see enough of what happens in the week to decide who is the better manager behind the scenes, i would have to say that on the night simon came across as the better manager. i am a huge fan of sharon but, last night she irritated the hell out of me with her false crying and squeeling, the turning of her back to simon all the time and the way she turned any critique that simon made into a personal attack against her . louis was just louis ...a limp lettuce. i think he expected sharons popularity was going to carry her 3 contestants through, and so, he jumped on her band wagon...big mistake imo.
myself, i enjoy hearing the judges critique of the contestants...last night sharon tried to change the show into a giant love fest...bad move imo. glad simon remained true.

I prefer Simon and Louis to Sharon but, I wasn't surprised when the audience voted her the best manager afterall she is the most popular. I absolutely hated the "you are an Osbourne" thing, not they are not! they are individuals and should be treated as such. The worst part was when she took them to her house and they had this little segment with Jack and all I could think was "What a crock of ****ing shit?"...it's not about you and your loopy family, it's about the singers.

I totally agree on the bit with Jack. Imagine having to do what he tells you? Sharon, get a grip....they aren't your son's playthings.

Not sure that Simon's the better manager but I do think he's the cleverer one. He knows how to play the game better than either Louis or Sharon as was proved last night.
