LOL, they got you! You should have just stopped paying!

I think the draw is Bristol, though I want to see this house she's buying when it's all done up. Heck, I want to see it in the "before" stages too.

I did stop paying. That's probably why she mentioned debt collectors. It's just so rude. I would think that first she would explain the situation in case it's just a misunderstanding rather than getting my back up by threatening me. My last insurers did that to me too. I hate them all!

Sell your car and use the tube. Cheaper! Or become a hermit and never leave the house. You're welcome for the advice.:yawn:

They have so many clauses in the small print they win , you are better off seeing out the policy than cancelling in most cases

I prefer blocked out cupboards so you cant see the mess behind, my rule is if it has'nt got a space to hide it away and is not used at least weekly recycle or chuck it, unless its a display piece.
small spaces get cluttered very quickly invest in a space saving cupboard so keeping it tidy is easier.

But I rang them and asked specifically and the woman told me I'd get money back! So they're fricking stupid!! If she hadn't of said that I wouldn't have gone through all the trouble of posting the policy back by special delivery. Ugh!

so they aren't going to give you any money back? what insurer is this? Are you selling the vehicle or moving it to another insurer? They should give you some money back. I work at an insurers brokers so I know they will try and take the piss if you let them! If she told you that you will get an amount back they have to stick by that and they will record all their calls so they will be able to go back and check

Hello
Hope you are all well and keeping your vests on, it's freezing here and the snow is hanging around.
Been keeping a look in every now and again, but things have been hard these past few weeks.
John has been to the hospital today, he's got to go back in another three weeks and they will tell him if he can drive then.
Poor Josie, I hope she recovers from her ankle damage soon. Look out Luke, the poor bloke will have his work cut out for him.
Miss you all, nice to pop in.

So good to see you Soph! Sorry that John's injuries are still ongoing. Hope in 3 weeks he will be able to drive again. I'm sure it would be nice for both of you for him to be independent.

Luke seems like a lovely guy, but I do hope he has a lot of patience. Josie, who is normally not a moaner and so upbeat, already seems put. Imagine 6 weeks from now and if she has to have surgery!

Oh yeah just seen that most problems like that normally happen with motor so I just assumed but I can't see why they wouldn't give the money back on a commercial insurance, I'm not surprised they would charge a fee but if the business is no longer trading or whatever I can't understand that. They don't always like you cancelling to place the business mid term elsewhere but if it's unavoidable that's a different matter. Ceeeeeeb how long till your insurance was due for renewal again? As I said if they have quoted you something over the phone they have to stick to it so nag them for a while!

your secrets safe with us

paint a crate and put in there untill you have time /money to deal with it, bung a cushion on top and it doubles as a seat.

or take lots of baths and use up the smellys.

It's Alan Boswell and they definitely said I'd get money back. Then I get the rude and abrupt email.
