Going mcds 4 chicken nuggets lol #yolo

The ridiculous times yolo is actually used.
I've just had to look up what that means.

Did the whole sighing and eye rolling earlier. I wrote on here months ago about someone who keeps complaining about her kids, and all they do is this that or the other. Someone considerably braver than me told her to pack it in and found himself deleted from her friends list. I'd 'hidden' her, but obviously this guy ran out of patience with her. The whole argument was visible and kinda wince-worthy.

This one made me laugh yesterday. A female friend wrote on an army site something along the lines of...

My partner wants to join the army asap but he wonders if hes too old to sign up? Hes 27 and only has three gcses. Hes looking for a full time position as a lifestyle change and would ideally like to be a mechanic on either planes or tanks. Thank you.

The funny part is this couple are bone idle. Shes 22 and her career is popping out kids so they can stay in their three bed council house. Hes signed on the dole since leaving school. He got one job which the job centre made him take and he got fired after 6 weeks for always being late or calling in sick. She moans that he never does anything except hang out with his mates smoking weed and getting in trouble with the police. Shes now got all her hopes pinning on him being able to be in the army!

Someone commented that hes not too old but the gcses might hold him back as he doesnt have the right grades in the right subjects. Her response was that he was badly behaved at school and didnt see the point in education but now hes grown up hes willing to do anything to get in the army. Now this is a man who she constantly moans about for not getting up early, going out all day and sometimes all night. He cant hold a job down and has no experience in anything but she really believes hes cut out to be army material!

Maybe! It just seems really odd leaving school and living on the dole for so long, having no discipline, no responsibility, total freedom and then one day just deciding youre life long ambition is to join the army!

I think it would be good for him and he may turn his life around but if he cant cope with six weeks working nearby how does he expect to cope being woke up early daily!

My mum was taken in by one of those cancer research ones and now relatives think she's moving to America for a year.

A friend of mine has spent the day letting her family know that she is NOT going to Germany for 11 months. The first one (bra colour) was good, but I can't be bothered anymore.

How did it go from being lied to/ripped off to having people think she was moving to America?

I have a Facebook "friend" who shows up on my news feed every night without fail as her mother tags her at "my comfy bed" along with her sister, brother and dog (the dog has a Facebook page). The same thing happens through out the day - on my comfy couch, at the dinner table etc. I don't understand this surely mother, her 3 children (aged 25, 21 & 14) and dog cannot all be in the same bed. The mother also broadcasts the ins and outs of her break up which I get to see daily as said Facebook friend gets tagged in these statuses. And yes also tags the sister, brother and dog.

Recently I have noticed an increase of people using hashtags in statuses. There's one particular 'friend' who seems to photograph every meal and then uses hashtags such as 'yum' ... I don't understand why

I was stunned when my nan asked me why my mum was going to America for a year, i'm sure my mum would tell me these kind of things. Earlier on today i heard her explaining to my nan that it was one of those Cancer Research statuses.

This annoys me too. I have a 35 year old man who used to do this with his breakfast, lunch and dinner with the caption "nom nom nom boom there's your dinner". He eventually stopped as people were taking the p*ss out of his meals, which in my opinion I wouldn't feed to a dog, and it offended him as "his wee mum takes her time and effort making these meals".

Friend only ever posts pics of her baby. Hes about 10 month, i think. Every time Manchester Utd win, its only because her child is wearing his kit.

I've a "friend", who I've mentioned on here before, whos obsessed with the Holocaust after visiting Auschwitz.

Every status is a real "Holier than Thou" attack on ANYBODY who makes a flippant comment about their life. Don't you dare say you're "starving", because you can guarantee she'll post a thinly veiled status about you saying "Some people need to visit Auschwitz to understand real suffering".

Totally mental.

She sounds a bit nutty maybe she should see someone.

Reminds me one of my friends posts every day that she is "straving". So many people have pointed it out but she still continues to do so. I really should deactivate my account I have too much to moan about.

Someone i know put a bragging status of how proud they were taking their son to the local university open day and how it made them feel old.

The son in question is ten! I asked my mum what it was all about and apparently the woman was taking her son to look at a secondary school which is on the same grounds as a distance learning university campus. So my friend deliberately wanted people to think her son was starting a part time university course when in actual fact he was looking around the building opposite!

Not really mental imo, just a self-righteous C U Next Tuesday, it's the same as 'eat your food, people are starving in Africa' and all other guilt-trip sayings of the sort.

I don't like it when people use 'lol' in their own statuses, especially when its not funny. Saw this one recently...

'Just finished two loads of washing, now just have to iron it all lol'

How is that remotely lol????
