In answer to your question - no neither of your statuses would have annoyed me! Not that you should be bothered what I would think, but I'm just answering the question because you asked it ”

I ma bothered about what you think. You have reassured me, thank you!

Just seen this -
''Although they didn't die of cancer I'll be running the race for life for all of those who died in 9-11 aswell!xxx R.I.P.''

Aaargh! this girl also asks stupid attention seeking questions all the time...luckily she isn't actually a FB friend of mine. She's a friend of a friend but I see her stupidity all too often on my newsfeed.

People who exclusively use the term "lil man/lil lady" when they refer to their son/daughter. Talk properly!

Also people who say, for example "the boy" when referring to their boyfriend. People have names for a reason - use them!

Most annoying and upsetting at the moment though are the deluded morons who believe that liking or sharing a photo will somehow donate towards a cause. I opened my FB while having lunch the other day to be greeted by a photo of a dead dog covered in blood, with the usual "like if you are against animal cruelty" or it may have been "for each like FB will donate xyz amount" etc (I didn't see exactly what it said as I immediately unfriended the sick b*****d who had reposted such a horrid photo and put me off my lunch.)

I have friends who post pictures of themselves in the mirror with the flash on their phone/camera that annoys me!

There's a couple of older (quite large) women I work with, and they're always updating their profile pics. It's usually a photo they've taken themselves, from above so they look slimmer, and you can see lots of cleavage

It seems to work for them though, they get a lot of "Wow!looking hot babes" and "Mmm, sexy" from the older fellas on there

I have had some crackers at times

My semi autistic friend (aspies or something for sure)
put:- "You have all the fun, my life is shit!!!"

He was genuinely put out that he wasn't invited to the wedding doo of someone he didn't know :S

I have a girl who does an "I am in so much pain" status every 8 hours or so and has done for about 4 years (no messing). - I think she needs to see a Doctor.

Someone set up a page for their dog and updated a status each day that basically said "woof woof arf arf bow wow wow" etc.. - I quite liked that one!

Then every now and then you get the Horrors!!!
you know what I mean the "my dad died last night " status etc F-me they are rough hopefully not too many of them cropping up any time soon for anyone.

I am quite fond of the sit half naked in the mirror and pout girl photos - please feel free to send me them

Oh dear lord. Tasteless and attention seeking at the same time.

Yes, I hate those as well. I mean, if you really care about a cause or something, surely it would be better to actually do something about it. Just liking a photograph isn't going to do sod all for anyone.

Yes, most annoying. I make a point of not clicking. Quite frankly if I really care about something,I'd rather do something about it, than take half a second of my life to click 'like'.

They're along the same lines as those statuses that say 'If you care about (whatever cause), please copy and paste this as your status. If you don't, I will understand'.....don't try and guilt me into copying and pasting something!!

I have a friend who really is a lovely girl, but she often has to go and pick her husband up from work late at night. While she's waiting for him, she is obviously logging onto facebook, and posts tons and tons of 'funny' pictures. Sometimes my news feed is entirely clogged up with pictures she has posted!

How about the borderline racist/xenophobic ones talking about immigrants and charity begins at home, or our brave soldiers etc. They always end with "share if you agree, I bet most people won't dare to though" or something like that

One of my friends keeps mentioning her mother (who died five years ago) at every opportunity. It's a shame for her and I feel sorry for her and stuff, but sometimes you just have to wonder why on earth she needs to keep bringing up her mum for everything.

EG -
"first day of college tomorrow, so excited, shame my mum isn't here though, know she'll be watching me from heaven, rip gbnf <3 xxx"
"times like this i really wish my mum was back to give her a big cuddle <3 love and miss you so much gbnf you were my best friend and i can't wait until we meet again (yn) xxx"
"looking up at the stars and the brightest one there is my mum <3 know she's smiling at me from the sky, love her so much xxxx"
"would have been my mums birthday today, love and miss her so much can't believe she's gone, one day we will meet again rip gbnf xxx"
"that's me turning 18 tomorrow, can't believe my mum isnt here to see me but know she's watching me from above <3 can't wait until we meet again so i can give her a big cuddle rip gnnf xxx"

You get the drift. These are actually the shortened versions and are only a few examples. I sound really mean and nasty but I have NEVER felt the need to go to Facebook, go to "post status", type out a speech about my dead family members and then share it with everyone on my friend list. It seriously baffles me. Sometimes I think she does it only for the likes because everytime she mentions her Mum she gets about 20 likes and tons of comments from people offering her hugs and telling her to cheer up, yet any other time she posts a status she gets ignored.

You could always help her and like her other statuses...

I have only just reactivated my facebook after being off it since April and I don't know why I bothered, it's the same old crap
.an ex-school friend of mine posted a picture of her fire lighting, saying she was all cosy and set for the night, the things these people post and she got like 20 likes

Another person is such a bragger and show off she sickens me, she takes photos of her perfect kids and her perfect life everyday,
I know though she is the type who will literally drag her kids out to places so she can post lots of pictures on Facebook, FB really has turned people into mini celebs in their own reality show online.

I feel mean with this cos she's genuinely asking a question cos she's worried but my friend has a new born baby with a rotten cold - she's just posted

'have you ever sucked snot from your babies nose to clear it?'

I am literally heaving at my desk.

That is sad though, having a newborn is so scary..they can't cope with a cold and you go insane worrying they will stop breathing. I don't think I could go through all that again!

Facebook is good for advice I suppose, it's probably the only thing its goods for.

I have a friend who spent Christmas Day last year on her own (through her own choice) and every half an hour she was posting up pictures of "drinks for one", "under the mistletoe and no one to kiss", "Christmas dinner for one" etc etc all attention seeking and thanking her fb friends for liking her statuses and keeping her company on her lonely christmas day. She had invites to plenty of places she just wanted to attention seek

My cousin is going through a phase of joining all these unemployed people are wasters type groups and commenting. Today she put a comment along the lines of 'i work every hour there is for 17 grand a year if im lucky. My layabout ex, the father of my son, sits on his arse and gets 30 grand a year disability allowance because hes a druggy...'

Now im pretty sure he doesnt get 30 grand a year for being on drugs. Plus the fact nobody seems to mention that she decided to have a baby with a druggy and happily live off benefits for a few years! Nobody forced her too. She was happy enough for him to be on drugs when he was with her but when they split he became scum of the earth to her!

If you block someone on facebook, how does your profile look towards the person you've blocked?

I mentioned someone a few pages back who seems to has some attachment issues and the constant tagging me in videos/pictures, liking everything i've done is getting annoying to the point where i'm thinking of removing this person from my profile.

I have a lot of American friends that frequently thank God and Jesus for whatever in their statuses. Sometimes, for a bit of balance, I'll comment with news stories about children suffering and ask why God/Jesus don't care about them.

Same here, although I bite my tongue rather than say anything.

I had someone who i only know through my partner put an update saying they were leaving facebook and could everyone send them their email so they can keep in contact. In the years ive known this person theyve never spoken to me, always my partner so i ignored it. Then they started sending messages to a group of people pestering for email addresses. In the end i got fed up and deleted them.

It annoys me, if youre so fed up on fb just go but then dont whine that you cant contact people easily!

Said girl who I'll now be calling "Leanne". That's not her name but saves me explaining who I mean every time without using her real name has uploaded pictures of herself in her bra...And uploaded a status saying "LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT BE SINGLE AGAIN SOON! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME (Boyfriend's name) I'LL DO ANYTHING!"

She's quite unhinged...
