good point about Room 101 being a revamped BBC 2 show, but the other problem is that it could also be a "Made by Dave" program on Dave. I enjoy it but im not sure its BBC 1 worthy.

True - and whether they're giving birth, going through cancer or at deaths door it'll be Dr Walker there to treat them, even if he was locked up in the previous episode.

I think the show has a new series producer now so maybe things will improve - and soaps tend to have a habit of recovering just as everyone is writing them off.

What doesn't kill ITV1 makes it stronger..... ITV1 is not as bad as many people think, sure they have weak News programmes, the Soaps are the oldest two (52 week) programmes on television. They make poor game shows, yes they can make (well also commission) great drama on occasion and they do have deep enough pockets for FA Cup, Europa Cup & Champions League. The main problem with ITV1 is that they are not BBC1, they have so many ad breaks and annoying bumpers, everything is sponsored from ATM Cash machines to the Weather updates.

Looking on the bright side, Law & Order UK did beat Hustle on Friday, and luckily for them the weather claimed Rugby 6 Nations on Saturday evening. Who knows, maybe TV Burp will win a slot for them again tonight.......?

Why ask a silly question when you (should) know the answer.

Adrian Chilies is returning to the BBC?
Thank you

That's a lame excuse and totally unfounded it got low ratings because the show is poor at the moment, and it got near enough the same ratings on Monday night so don't give us all that rubbish.

Sport Relief is a charity event. Personalities from all channels get involved. ITV's 'golden boy' Dermot O'Leary appeared in a big BBC promo last year.

Dermot O'Leary is also a BBC employee, he has a Radio 2 show.

As for it being a charity event, its no Comic Relief in CiN, and I know why.

Children In Need and Comic Relief generally ask you to do something fun or amusing for charity. Sports Relief on the other hand, asks you to run a mile.

The only people I see who seem to care about Sports Relief is the sponsors, and celebrity's

Adrian Chilies has obviously got involved in Sports Relief (as he has previously). The BBC have included him in the promo.

I bet he jumped at the chance, he probably didnt even need to be asked, he just turned up at the first day of filming, with coffee for the producer.

also in what way is Dermot O'Leary, ITVs golden boy? his last ITV show (Marriage Ref) flopped, and before you all start jumping up and down saying things like "he presents X-Factor" well yes he does, but he is not the reason for X-Factor being successful.

Meanwhile at the BBC he hosts Young Voters Question Time, and hosts a twice Sony Award winning radio program on Radio 2.

I wonder could any body name me an ITV show that has been successful BECAUSE of Dermot?

As for the football, 1 millionaire didnt shake the hand of another millionaire, and its apparently the biggest thing to happen to football since the last time that happened? and apparently the the KKK were handing out masks. Im clearly so wrong in not watching football, who would not want to spend thousands on a season ticket to that?

Considering the amount of times Channel 5 have shown the trailer for Friday that is a shocking rating. Does it include +1? In H&A's defence the 6pm showing is a 3rd repeat although I assume most will class it as the main showing. Neighbours lunchtime episode almost beat it

- MOTD peaks with 5.7m
* peak up 0.1m week-on-week
- Take Me Out peaks with 6.0m (includes +1)
* peak identical week-on-week

No sign of Bleakley in the promo then ?

Anything for Casualty? The revamp has been quite disappointing so far, and I suspect it'll be in the low 5m range, which is poor for Casualty at this time of year.

Good peak for MOTD, any figures for Live Ford Football Special (Liverpool v Man U) on SS2?

Non BBC contracted stars have always got involved with Sport/Comic Relief. Ant & Dec, Davina McCall, Gok Wan and Dermot O'Leary are some.

Some scheduling news, confirmed and possible:

- STV are opting out of Benidorm from Friday 24th February to show Married, Single, Other
- Wallander is back on Sunday 1st April according to Kenneth Branagh on BBC Breakfast
- Silent Witness (12x60) looks likely to return on Monday and Tuesday's from Monday 19th March, bringing a possible clash with Scott & Bailey
- The Apprentice looks likely to return on Wednesday 21st March
- Celebrity Pointless starts in March for 8 weeks on Saturday evenings, probably from Saturday 17th March after the current run of Winter Wipeout ends
- With all the above in mind, Saturday 24th March can be pencilled in for the start of The Voice

A lot of new programming coming up from the middle of March so that should be interesting from a ratings perspective with not much standing out at the moment aside from Call the Midwife. Although the Gypsies may well stand out on Tuesday...

The BBC One Saturday schedule from mid-March will therefore look like:

18:30 - Celebrity Pointless
19:30 - The Voice
20:30 - Lottery
21:20 - Casualty
22:10 - BBC News
22:30 - Match of the Day

Although depending on how well it launches it may end up moving due to Britain's Got Talent, if it stuck with a very good 6/7m audience then they could stick to their guns and pit it with a BGT overlap, but if it dipped to 5/6m, then it may be in their interests to move it away from BGT if such a situation arose.

Well that's my Sky box tuning in to ITV London then! Getting a bit sick of these opt-outs, especially when they end up airing the shows - just much later than the rest of the network! We only got Identity last month!

Yes it flopped. And they swiftly stated it would remain in the entertainment dustbin in the sky..... At least Channel 5 learns from it's mistakes. Unlike ITV1.....

H&A is abit low though, but it did pick up a strong figure on 5*. Was tonights episode the season finale episode for 2011? Its good at the moment so its a shame its struggling. The break has hurt it quite badly. Eternal Law is finally over, which will be a relief for ITV as its done very poorly. I think Kidnap and Ransom is back in a fews weeks so that should do quite well in the 9pm slot.”

TBF H&A and Neighbours should be reduced to Monday - Thursday only and then they could be shown all year round except for Bank Holidays. The ratings might go up then.

Once Upon A Time was a late confirmed Acquisition
Dallas hasn't even finished production yet - and won't be shown in the USA until August so we won't see it until September/October
The Walking Dead isn't coming back until April

You must be an BBC-Vista then. Because you've obviously forgetten about Louise Berridge and Kathleen Hutchinson's reigns as EP of EE..... Emmerdale was at the time the no2 soap..... Get over it..... It's already happened.....
