I'm not a fan of moving shows for their final episode, as it inevitably leads to a drop off in performance. More people watch telly on Monday nights at 9.30 than Saturday at 9.30, so even with a 5.5m or so Casualty lead in, I suspect it might overnight in the high 4s again, and won't get the c1.6m timeshift it seems to be getting each week.
The key is how well, or not, BBC1 promote the switch - for just one show. They should make an effort - and see whether this is the best slot for series 3.
(BTW - it overnighted with 6.61m on Boxing Day; officially it got a stonking 8.24m)
