Comparing it to this thread is like comparing apples and pears. Twitter is only useful for reporting a few headline figures as Attentional etc already do each morning and a true ratings nut needs more than that. Only the immediacy of it makes it so attractive first thing and by the time it hits your account, it's old news. So not for me I'm afraid.”

Never been hostile in my life but sadly you can't take a joke from anyone about your love of C5, seeing it as being hugely offensive

. It's really not meant to be.
Anyway wasn't comparing - just saying they both get accurate ratings out into the public domain.
And that Twitter account, although only going for less than a month, already has over 650 followers, many of whom are in the industry - head of scheduling Sky1, 2 5live presenters, deputy editor of OK!, Endemol employee, Discovery employee, Heidi Thomas (creator of Call the Midwife), Director of Comms at ITV and BBC, owner of Holy Moly, BBC correspondent Nick Higham, editor of TV Choice, Marketing Manager of BBC2, Toby Earle, Boyd Hilton, many, many other BBC/ITV/Sky employees, Kevin O'Sullivan etc etc.
So quite frankly I think it's good that these ratings are getting out there. Clearly it's old news for you being a ratings nut, but not for many other people. I'd love it to be more up to date, but sadly having a full time job just doesn't allow for me tweeting ratings at 9.45 every morning.
As for giving credit, I won't if they're just overnights, which can be just copied and pasted into this forum. However if someone has put in effort to work out averages etc i absolutely will give credit. Only 140 characters though.
As for not being impartial, Twitter is full of cherry picked ratings from the BBC/ITV and especially Sky. My feed is a whole lot more impartial than most.
