Wild at Heart seems stable and both of the latter shows should improve next week as I can't see Bomber Boys appealing to the same kind of audience as Birdsong, which finished decently. Top Gear appears to have been the show that lost out at 8pm which surprises me slightly; perhaps the use of repeats means viewers are tired of the show before a new series begins. World's Great Daredevils struggled on Channel 5 but, considering the lead in, Bad Boys didn't do too badly. Channel 4 recorded a steady night. As for TOWIE...it's in line with March 2011's premiere and I have the feeling it'll grow as the series goes on so I won't write it off yet.”

The Beeb should have been piling in with Upstairs Downstairs from this Sunday to keep the foot on the gas.Stuff like Bomber Boys and Paxman real home is BBC2. Certainly has been a strong start to this year for BBC1.

Very nice numbers for Sky1 there, I had noticed that the Got To Dance audition shows have been a bit lower this year, but I suppose more people were recording them or watching the repeats this year. The live shows are more of an event though so people clearly made the difference as it did as well as ever and proved that it remains one of Sky1's biggest shows. Strong rating for Ashley's show too, and I can see it holding at that level or building a bit as it was pretty good actually,
