My opinions are shifting on VWS.

a) Listened to their mp3....wobbly at the beginning, got much better though.

b) Are the gals arrogant and diva-ish?

I'll need wowed on Saturday

G4 disappointed me, I quite liked what I had seen of them before but I think they ruined a great song on Saturday night. I also thought they were very cocky with their opinions when they came off stage (on Xtra Factor) regarding them definitely being through. I was praying they would be in the bottom two just to give them a trip back down to earth.
I still can't stand Steve (a poor man's Marti Pellow in my mind and I don't like Marti Pellow either!). What is it with the non-stop smiling? He just looked to me like he was smirking I don't like his voice either, laryngitis or not.
Sharon really disappointed me too, I know it was all panto but every time Simon criticised one of her acts saying it wasn't true, it's just all personal made her look petty and isn't doing her contestants any favours either. I think all his comments were valid - and I'm no Simon fan either, though I'm warming to him.
After not really having any opinion on them, I thought VWS were impressive and didn't deserve to be in the last 2.
2 to Go - didn't like them at all after previously thinking they were quite good though didn't really have the elusive X-Factor.
Rowetta I still love and in my opinion she gave the best vocal performance of the night. Go Ro!
I think that's it!

by making that comment, it suggests to me anyway, that
rowetta has doubts, feels anxious and lacks confidence.

yes, she's a professional but does she believe in herself?
this is where we can help her to overcome her fears.......

if she really believed how much love and support she had
we would be rewarded with sensational, no holds barred
performances of such power that she will raise the roof...

there will be a song, that will become her defining moment.
the anticipation is mouthwatering and i can barely wait now

so does rowetta possess the elusive x-factor?
yes.......enough to light up the whole country!

I have listened to the mp3's of all the performers on Saturday night. Some sounded better than on my TV others sounded worse.

I'll be keeping Verity, 2 to go and Roberta in my playlist. Shame they weren't allowed to sing for longer.

Personally, I was a little disappointed in G4. Hated the backing track and they didn't seem as impacting as they were the first few times I heard them sing. I think it must have sounded better in the studio...

Tabby impressed me actually. I think he has some stage presence.

And Simon? Well am loving him even more. Cool and calm, whilst Sharon and Louis had hissy fits and made fools of themselves...

And how good did he look in the suit
SCAB 4 eva”

yes i have a change of opinion,.....louie and sharon are both shits!!!!

UP
Rowetta, if anything, liked her more after saturday!!
Cassie same as well, great vocal, agreed though, shoot the stylist.
2 to go. Better than I expected. Enjoyable performance.
Verity(just). Quite liked the power in her voice which I did'nt know she had, if only she could control her nerves and stay in tune though, her pitch problems rather let her down.

Down
VWS. I did'nt really agree wth the judges, the performance left me a bit unmoved
G4. Unemotional and sterile, down a lot!. Technically good, but I need more.
Steve. Even allowng for his illness, did'nt do anything for me at all. Cab driver, seemed to be an apt description.
Tabby. Sorry, I thought he was'nt very good, voice ok, but nothing special at all. Awfull guitar playing.
Roberta. Sang much better in the auditions, seemed off key.

VWS - haven't changed opinion on - still think they're o.k. Not x-factor though.

2 to Go - Yawn, yawn, yawn in the auditions. He's got a nice voice, but yawn, yawn yawn for live show.

G4 - Thought they were great in the auditions - now really bored with them. Every song sounds the same. The "No, no no" line in "Everybody Hurts" made me laugh. They look like they're dressed to join the Countryside Alliance and Jonathon irritates me when he cries every time someone says something nice.

Verity - Boring, bland woman with a sob story in the auditions. Now think she's a boring, bland, botoxed woman who can't sing very well with a sob story.

Steve - Quite liked him in the auditions. Gone off him smirking all the time. Can't judge his singing due to the laryingitis.

Rowetta - Loved her in the auditions. Still love her.

Roberta - Boring, bland, beautiful woman with a nice voice in the auditions. Now boring, bland beautiful woman who is quite rightly out of the competition.

Cassie - She didn't really dent my conscience one way or another in the auditions. Now think she's got a quite beautiful voice and a certain interesting stage presence. Needs to lose the curls and the pedal pusher trousers.

Tabby - Thought he was o.k. in the auditions. Now love him.

LOL, me and my brother were laughing too. I hate the way they look at each other as they're singing, they always have the same expression on their faces.

They have such a lack of emotion when they sing, it's laughable!

Yeah...I think that's one of the main things that puts me off about them....they don't feel the lyrics of the song at all....they don't seem to express any emotion and it's kind of like....singing-by-numbers

My opinion's changed. I used to think Verity was rubbish. Now I think that's too much of a compliment.

Gone up in my opinion is Rowetta...she really is a star in the making..loved her "I'm through" line..something a real star would say.

I still don't 'get' g4, Cassie was given an awful song and image, Verity is still poor...why choose whitney when you arent the greatest singer, 22Go were dull, VWS were good and i can't understand why the GBP don't like them, Tabby still poor in my opinion and the guitar was a mistake on a 2 min song, Steve I'll reserve judgement till next week.

The worst thing for me is the new format...complete farce and Shaz/The Gnome will deffo go against Simon's acts. It makes betting on it very frustrating. If they put in any more surprises I am going to throw my toys and not watch.

going up, up , up
Tabby - I liked him last week - this week Sharon took a risk by planning a rather bizaar stunt - but pulled it off. He was by far the most entertaining act of the night.
Verity - much improved
Simon - I'm loving the 'Mr nice guy' approach
Sharon - with regards to Tabby - I think Sharon has a plan here - and its a good'un

no change
Cassie - she's ok
Rowetta - still good - polished performance - didn't wow me
Steve - same as Ro
VWS - not really my thing but not umpleasant to listen to

going down - big time
G4 - oh how the mighty have fallen - please guys - pick up the pace next week
2 to Go - uurgh I didn't think this act could get any worse
Louis - what a whinger - you too could have a choir if you wanted!! AND JUST LEAVE G4 ALONE
