Indeed. I might even be tempted to go back to UK pace then.

'there was the time when I had to save you when a bomb went off and you were taking a bath... I won't be forgetting that in a hurry' . Yes, I can understand that.

As Brummiekev says, Castle is just getting better and better with each season. Now if Alibi HD would just get up and running, that would be the icing on the cake.
Wasn't it Beckett 8~Castle 9.....

Just an 'ok' episode last night I thought, not a great one but still enjoyable with a few lol moments. (e.g. the 3 of them walking into the casino in their outfits).

Still can't take to Gates though, even though I think this episode was meant to 'soften' her character a bit.

I didnt think it was a great episode last night although it made me chuckle when they dressed up as Elvis, Castle looked just like him!!!.

Saying that next weeks looks a cracker, judging by the preview I saw.

Agree about Gates, I just cant warm to her. She isnt the same as Captain Montgomery!!

"What Elvis can't be brown. I'm El-vis."

Agree, not a great episode last night.....but the Elvis3 was very funny.

And Beckett without Castle.....

"Do we look like we're joking?"

A bit formulaic this week: set up a suspect, get the suspect cornered, realise he didn't do it, set up another suspect, and so on. Last week's Die Hard homage was much cleverer.

Thanks for that. Last week's ep was quite good too, more of a 'serious' one following the previous Elvis fest.

On a side note, I just got a Kindle and the first book I'm reading is 'Heat Wave' by Richard Castle. I hadn't realised it had been brought out as a real book - I'm not very far into it, but I just can't help picturing Beckett & Castle rather than 'Nikki Heat' & 'Jameson Rook.' Anyone else read it?

I actually read Heat Wave a few weeks ago - it's not bad actually. Naked Heat is also available but I haven't read that yet - it's a much bigger book than Heat Wave so I guess the story is a lot more involved.

Did you know that Richard Castle has an 'official' Twitter account?

Yeah, I saw Naked Heat was available, as is Heat Rises, and it looks like there is another one coming out later this year - 'Frozen Heat.' Just how am I meant to keep up with all my tv and read all these as well???

Wasn't aware of the twitter account either btw - ta.

I did, and you were right, it was a good'un.

Plenty of Castle/Beckett back-and-forth, lots of one-liners, and I did not expect that when he stuck his head through!

Lanie/Espesito bickering, then Beckett and Castle talking about it 'they want to be with each other they just don't want to admit it', oh the irony.

"Castle, you better not be enjoying this" - pretty sure he would have been.

"If I ever get hitched again..."

"Next time..Next time???"

and my personal favourite 'Well there's only one thing to do now' [kiss? declare undying love? No] 'Scream like little girls' - lmao.

Me too, and another one I've just remembered was when they were 'banging' against the wall. Brought a smile to my face that did.

Heat Wave feels pretty much like an episode of Castle, with the names changed (and a bit of wish fulfillment on Castle's part). But the next 2 books really up the ante, with Heat Rises being the best, and feeling like a real novel actually written by Castle.

(The acknowledgments at the end of the books are great, since they keep up the illusion, doing things like thanking medical examiner Dr. Lanie Parish)

Oh dear. I'm an idiot. 26% into the book and I just 'got' the Castle/Rook reference.

Good news too - just seen Castle's been confirmed for a 5th season

The Blue Butterfly...... "Why am I narrating?"

Great Film Noir episode this week...Kate/Vera looked Stunning...but Lanie/Betsy........her singing; that was her voice.

But the Cuban and the Irishman; where have I seen them before.

a Classic Castle episode

Agreed. I was a bit worried about it when I read the synopsis, but it was done very well.

I never check before, what the Episode is going to be about until it starts....so I didn't have a clue.....On paper it sounds Rubbish, but this is Castle and the whole cast were involved...so it did turn out to be one of the best episode of the season.

Ooh good, I've had the second one for ages but haven't gotten around to reading it as, although Heat Wave was a lot of fun due to the parallels between the series and the references etc, it wasn't exactly the most well written book in the world! Hmm I'll have to track down my copy of Naked Heat.

LOVED the noir episode Probably my favourite episode of season 4 so far (apart from maybe Kill Shot).

To Be Continued...

Wow - loved this week's episode. Superb. I hope they keep it up for the 2nd part.

Gates not having a 'need to know' - priceless.

'who else have you 'researched' with?

And the scene in the car boot - how they can act that while keeping their faces straight - wonder how many takes that took? 'Is it in????'

Brilliant.
