This! I do find this excuse rather funny. Cornwall is pretty much like any of ITV's other fillers-the only difference being it is more popular, because the other channels offerings obviously aren't as appealing. It's probably the least aggressive scheduling possible from ITV.
Yeah, the football probably dented EE slightly, as Corrie's 2nd ep was also slightly down from the 1st, but I still feel there is problems when ED is only 0.6m behind EE which has a better slot. And imo ED is in a worse state than EE atm.
