Just seen on the DS homepage that Rachel and Brendan will be taking part in the upcoming season of TAR.

TAR used to be my favourite show in the World, but have slowly gone off it.

I watched it when Rob and Amber did it in Season 7 and then again in All Stars. They did really well in their original season and actually should have won it (the biggest fix I have ever seen in a reality show prevented them from doing so).

All Stars they did not so good!

They had Ethan and can't recall her name last one they went fairly early. People recognized them as previous winners of Survivor and they did not like that at all.

These 2 will go really early. While I do have a soft spot for Rachel (she makes me laugh) Brenchel will eat each other alive under pressure and the race is 24/7 pressure.

Scary just thinking about it. !

I believe that's actually her legal full name.

The constant stream of old faces on CBS reality shows depresses me but I'm interested in seeing Rachel in cultural fish out of water moments.

The previous Amazing Race season (with Ethan and Can't Recall Her Name) was fairly dull in my opinion.

What I'm looking forward to is if once tthey get voted off will Rachel and Brendan have a tantrum and call everyone else floaters?

Brenchel are going to be potentially awesome on The Amazing Race. It's really a far better fit for them than BB ever was.

On the race, they are free to piss off their fellow opponents to their hearts content, with so few chances for their opponents to actually do anything about it. They vary from being an amazing team to a trainwreck in the space of seconds, and attract drama wherever they go. There'll be meltdowns aplenty if they can't work their way through a task quickly or if something out of their hands goes wrong. I can't wait to see an epic Rachel meltdown when the taxi driver stops for petrol on the way to the pitstop.

But then away from that drama, they are really perfect for the race. Both of them are in more or less perfect shape and would be more than a match for anyone in the cast in a footrace. Their competitive beyond belief, and underneath the ridiculousness, their actually both pretty smart.

I fully expect them to be in the top 5 at least. I'll be seriously pissed if there's no Brenchel after the first few legs.

I'm curious about how they will get on. Physically they are strong but emotionally they are very weak. But since the last season was quite a physical one, maybe they have a chance to do well.

Is there anyway for non Us residents,to watch this show?

I don't have a clue what this show is about but I'll probably try and download it to watch if Rachel is on.

The Amazing Race takes 10 or so teams of 2 around the globe, competing in challenges to get to the finish line. Most weeks the last team in is eliminated although they do have a couple of non elimination rounds. It's very interesting and the planning out of the race is imo very well done, many times it coincides with events in that country or city.

Jordan and what's his name from US BB went on the race as have couples from Survivor. But usually it's just folks from different places. They also do Amazing Race Asia, which is really hard and there is an Amazing Race Australia as well.

The stress is really up there on this one as they often have to get from here to there in countries where no English is spoken. It can make or break a relationship

Nice first episode, those who finished last really messed it up though. The karma couple and the guy who screams like they have won it are annoying. Nice to see Rachel doing well. The old woman at the food contest was funny.
