They have recorded together but artists record together all the time and whether it makes the actual album is never a sure thing.

Florence and Jessie J would be like collaborating Madonna with Girls Aloud.

Well people thought Dizzee/Flo was a bad idea and look how that turned out.. got no.1 on the singles chart.

That was a media gimmick, and also, however much I dislike him...he writes his own music, so therefore is much more credible in my eyes than Jessie. Although I do think she's a nice person, unfortunately that doesn't win her my respect.

How was it a media gimmick? The Brits almost always feature a collaboration.. Jessie wrote her entire album and songs for other successful artists.. you need to brush up on your knowledge before making points like that.

Madonna and Gaga. Feels like one of those inevitable things, but maybe not 2012.

I also have my heart set on "The New Rat Pack", which would be a collaborative effort between Beyonce, Jay Z, Gaga and Kanye. I just think they would create some next-level brilliance, together.

I want Gaga and Beyonce to continue the PapaTele arc too with a song that's written by - and for - them. But again, maybe not 2012.

I'd love to see some interesting Christina Aguilera collaborations too. There's rumour of an Eminem duet as well as a Kanye/Jay Z feature. I think she and Cee-Lo would bring it, too.

Oh, and of course, Adele and JLS.

Spoiler

The collaboration always features on the Brit album, yes? You cant get it from another source, for example from the artists albums. So, the Brits know damn well if people want it, it's them who make the bulk of the money. They chose the two most popular artists of the year, and obviously the Brits is highly publicised to generate interest in the song. That is called a media gimmick in the industry to sell singles that are limited release, eg live collaborations. I shouldn't have had to explain something so simple.. but there we go

Definitely! I've heard she's been working across the pond with some big names, so that particular hook-up would be great.

I think Usher and Trey Songz are also suspected....she was snapped in the studio with Usher, and was spotted leaving a restaurant with Trey Songz...She's collaborated with Bruno Mars and Ne-Yo already, but this might happen again....plus she has a feature on Swizz Beatz new album which is yet to be released...

It's all very exciting imo...

There's a Flo Rida/T-Pain/LMFAO collab coming out in the coming months too. I've heard it, and it'll probably be a #1 I think.

And to someone above, I think Lady Gaga and Foster the People have already collabed. On a remix of one of her songs I think.
