Problem with ONKYO amp
I have a onkyo amp tx-nr609 connected a panasonic plasma tv with hdmi cable connected to amp are sky-hd blu-ray dvdr with hdmi cables. The picture was okay when i switched it off but later when i switched it on again there was on picture.

Look up doing a factory reset. There's a key sequence for it. See if that cures the problem.

I have done a reset and also tried different cables but without success

Have you tried different HDMI inputs on the TV? Tried connecting the Sky box and Blu-ray directly to the TV?

After the reset did you reassign all the inputs to the source select buttons? I wonder if that could be the problem? With the Onkyo you can assign any combination of physical inputs to the source select buttons on the remote. By default they do nothing. So could your Onkyo be forgetting these assignments when you turn it off? Might be worth going through the input assign menu to see what it thinks is assigned to each button. Could easily have screwed up and the wrong or no input is assigned to the buttons you were using. Just a thought. |

I have tried different imputs on tv and checked the assigned imputs on the amp.

is there a test signal button - does that make a noise through the speakers?
