2 to Go FAR!!!
I think 2 to Go are one of the best of the 8 finalists. They look good, sound good, seem really sweet and I think they can go all the way! I for one would buy their Album. I have heard them live before and they were brilliant entertainers, excellent sound quality and really got the crowd going. They were very diverse doing dance, pop, ballads and the good old oldies too. Vote 2 to Go y'all!

I agree - they're very good and even if they don't win, someone will pick them up.

Who gave them that name?
2 to Go? I'm suspecting that someone knows something they don't. It's such an unfortunate name for them to have....for obvious reasons. Did Simon name them? I can imagine he did. As though it's a cruel private joke that he's in on. It's probably exactly what he'll say to the driver when the taxi comes to pick up "2 to Go" next week. Bad name. Bad name. It has fate, and omen written all over it. I wonder if the name really is deliberately cruel in it's irony. They may as well have been more upfront and blatant with the name and called them "We're F**king Dead Meat Next Week" |

Yes, they are one of the better acts, much improved and may be the dark horses of this show. I enjoyed their performance on saturday.

I agree the name isnt great, but it works both ways - 2 to Go -far, 2 to Go -all the way, 2 to Go - to the top of the charts etc! I think if the judges didnt like their name from the beginning - which they didnt - then they should have just gone through as Pete & Emma or visa versa. Anyway, whats in a name, their performance out shone even the best name!

I know what you mean.
But the name has an almost subliminal negative feeling to it. Go is the last word. Not good in an elimination contest. If they added another word to the end you'd be right,...but they haven't. You can add your own words like "2 to Go...supersonic" "2 to Go....Platinum" or whatever, but that's in your own imagination, not someone else's. |

"Peter and Emma" might work well.
It worked for "Peters and Lee". (But with different names obviously) But maybe they tried to avoid that, for whatever reason. You might be too young to have heard of "Peters and Lee", but for some of us, that's exactly who sprang to mind when we first saw them. |
