I've just bought a Nokia 100 and found that the images that you can assign to contacts (male/female heads, animals, car, ball, etc.) are all plain white. I have a Nokia 1616 and a 1661 to compare and they both have coloured images. Does anyone know if the Nokia 100 should have coloured images or if they really are plain white?

Actually it's more than just the contacts images, all of the menu icons are plain white except for the main menu screen icons which are in full colour.

Is this new or second hand? If it's new, I'd take it back as faulty if the icons are missing.

It's new and the icons aren't missing, they are there but in plain white. My question is should they be plain white or should they be in colour as they are in the Nokia 1616 and 1661?

If someone out there has got a Nokia 100 and can check the icons in the sub menus for me it will save me the hassle of a trip to the shops to check because I have no idea if the icons should be white or in colour.

No it doesn't but thanks. I've trawled through loads of similar sites today but non show the sub menus where the white icons are on mine, the pictures in the link show the main menu.

I've been out to a branch of Carphone Warehouse this morning and they were very helpful. They fired up a Nokia 100 for me and the sub menu icon displays were the same as on my Nokia 100, white. However the assistant did think it very strange that the icons weren't in colour considering the capabilities of the display so we concluded that there seems to be a general problem with the Nokia 100.
