why should i? i read the op and agreed with one of his points and posted my opinion. why do i have to read each and every post before posting an opinion? smarta***
lol... i wasnt suggesting you had to read every post

My point was that anyone who states that Apple 'just works' should take note of all the people in this forum having problems with Apple things that arent 'just working'

The 'just works' is a great marketing tag by Apple - a fact proven by how many people quote it. In fact, much of what Apple produce doesnt 'Just Work' ...... its no better (or worse) than Android, Windows or any other OS. they all have occasional bugs and 'features'

More than happy to be refered to as a smart**** though

It does show why stuff like 'Heineken refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach' whilst a load of bull is actually more acceptable being humour rather than fact.

'It just works' can be a tad misleading, especially so if going from something that already 'just works'.

sums up android os in a nutshell sometimes it works. sometimes it doesn't. ios on the otherhand, just works. and that coming from a blackberry user
Actually that's bollocks.

I'm using iOS5 on my 4S just now while my S2 gets repaired and its bloody awful. Apps keep crashing, its laggy sometimes on the homescreens, the battery is absolutely rank if you want to do anything with it. To sum it up its awful. The hardware looks nice though.....lol

Android for me since Gingerbread has never had those issues. ICS is also streets ahead of iOS while blackberry....well best not saying anything about that disaster at all really

i see your tut tut tut and raise you.

You clearly stated that "ios on the other hand, just works".

No 'opinion' was implied. The articulate reply by Stiggles holds just as much water as a 'statement' as yours does.

Both, if opinions, are potentially correct. Both were stated as 'fact' and are therefore prone to debate.

As an Android User I will quite happily state that Android occasionally has 'hiccups'. From reading this forum (and many others) I am under the impression that Apple products also have similar 'hiccups'.

I can therefore deduce that neither product 'just works' and that the fact that people quote it when discussing Apple products is purely down to very good marketing.

I rest my case m'lud .....

Actually it is. You stated it which means you said it as fact not as opinion so it is bollocks.
