Just put my request in with Orange and we have gone from 30 days to 2 weeks strange that, so in people's experience how long have you waited for apple to respond ?
![]() grumpyoldbat: O2 seem to be quite patchy depending on who you ask i'd callback again. I even heard about a CS agent saying they do not unlock devices which run iOS5 which is total rubbish. madscotsboy: I did even use iTunes in the unlocking of mine & my fathers 3Gs just needed synced that was all. |

Current lead time is 7-10 days (or at least it was a few days ago!), so 16 days would indicate something may be amiss. I'd call 150 to check everything is OK

I requested an unlock for the 4S from O2 and was told they're not unlocking them yet as they want to ensure they're only for "genuine and loyal" customers. I only wanted to unlock it so I can use another sim abroad. O2 still won't get my roaming data cash, I'll just use my unlocked Android phone instead. Idiots!
I've just unlocked my O2 iPhone 4S on a contract, free of charge. Just go to the unlocking form here: https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?...locking%20Form |

With Orange i had it within 72 hours but it can take up to 2weeks. It just depends how busy the Apple team are as it gets sent straight through to them at the end of each day. I'd imagine they are quite busy with 4S unlocks just now
