Morning, i often give chicken bones to my dog, my vet said this is naughty to do, as bones can get lodged in their throats and stomach.. NOW my little dog enjoys the occasional chicken bones. so far no harm has come to her...
question for dog owners.. do you give/have given chicken bones to your pet dog..

I would listen to your vet! So far no harm has come to her, but is it really worth the risk?
I wouldn't risk it if i were you, its so easy for bones to become lodged in their throats etc. So i really wouldn't be giving your dog chicken bones.

as long as they are not cooked they should be fine but cooked bones are weaker and will splinter

Cooked bones can be leathal - and in a nasty way too. They splinter & can cut the digestive system open.

Raw bones should be fine. Often give mine raw chicken wings & necks

hardly worth it. you can probably get a nice ham bone cheap from a butcher

bird bones are hollow, and splinter, and are dangerous for dogs to eat.
