I was watching the last scenes through my jumper.So sad to see him cry and all though i love the fact he went to defend his brothers (Ant more than Tyler) he didn't need to get beaten up.

The scene in the gym was good and showed a lot that he cares for anthony more than tyler. He mentioned that tyler was going to put anthony in danger,then he said something else but only said brother not brothers.

I hope they have anthony and tyler finding out about the beating tomorrow and not just ignore it,i think all 3 are in the episode.

Yeah. I hope Ant and Ty find out what Derek's done to him. It may bring them closer.

There's theories going around in the episode thread and on twitter.

Why do you think he was crying before he saw Derek? Because he knew he was going to get beaten up?

What did Derek mean by 'old school' as in the way he was beaten up?

I don't think he was scared of getting beaten up, I think he was scared Derek might go too far.

Yeah. We've seen him take a beating before. But today Michael wa genuinely terrified. And from what we've seen of Derek already (trying to stab David) I don't blame Michael for being scared

Old school could have meant back in the day when Derek used to beat him up like old times
I honestly think he was crying because he knew what was coming and felt bad about leaving his brothers in the learch!

Hmm....

SJS hinted in Inside Soap that we don't know that extent of the 'emotional and physical' bullying he took from Derek....I hope we find out soon!

I think he thought he was getting killed and possibly leaving janine,his baby and brothers alone.Derek said he would have gone further but janine had paid him already and by further i mean breaking knees or death.

I dread to think what would happen if derek knew it was michael who grassed.

It just makes me hate Derek that much more he knew janine had paid him off and doesn't know Michael grassed do basically he just beat him up for what NOTHING! Someone needs to sort him out

Wasn't one the Krays known as a male rapist? If they are going down that route with Derek as a Kray figure then maybe they've taken influence from that.

I agree with everyone and think that he knew what was coming. He could of run away but he faced Derek and was brave.

yeah all of us on the Michael/SJS appreciation thread need to get together and sort Derek out!! We might do a better job than Tyler...

Was derek going to punch patrick or anthony when tyler stepped in.It happened so fast...?

Well I don't think he sexual abused him tonight I think it was more of a beating up Michael because he was standing up to him and derek had to put him in his place but in the past maybe I just don't I know ........................................

I don't think he sexually abused him, Derek's just a very intense person (it's unnerving at times)

As mentioned in another thread, the Moons could do with Jake returning right about now...

I don't like some of the theories going around but i think it was just violence tonight.

I thought Jake died, I know danny died but i'm sure i read it said someone was waiting for him ie a gangster in his last scene.
