I wondered if it was to do with her Northern Irish accent and she is actually saying 'Bleakley' but everyone she works with is hearing 'Blakely'!

It bothers me far more than it should!

She has no charisma and is very bland, there is no spark with Philip as there is with Holly.

I feel she is only there cos she is still under contract with ITV and they have to put her somewhere

My old teacher at Methodist College in Belfast was a Mr David Bleakley (a politician of some kind over there) pronounced the same way!

Holly is so overrated

I think Christine is lovely (I am from Belfast and she is apparently very down to earth) but she is wooden as a presenter and her voice annoys me (I know, I know, its because I dont like to be reminded that is how I sound.... lol)

I don't think Christine is wooden. She is acting more reserved on this show and I think that is the way it should be. I really don't like the Caroline Flack presenters that make it all about them. Christine is making it about the contestants.

Also, I think she has been scrutinised beyond belief due to negative campaign against her. No other presenter on TV gets this amount of scrutiny and crticism. Sadly, I do think it comes down to the fact of where she is from.

I like her. She's no Holly admittedly but she is doing a good job and does not deserve the hate!

My theory is that a lot of women hate her purely on the basis that she is engaged to a (rather attractive) footballer and therefore instantly gets labelled as a 'WAG'! She earns her own money, and the 2 try their best to stay out of the press! The hate for her seems really unfair!
