Ability to record from red button service .. is this new?

Last night I watched something on the BBC red button service. To my surprise I was able to record it. Is this a new feature on the Humax or is it something I have overlooked previously? I was sure it was not possible to do this, but I can!

You have always been able to record the opening screen with stream 1 in the smaller window. The recording takes the name of the programme you pressed the red button on.

Just tried to record any of the streams full screen and I can't.

The modified firmware channel editor lets you add red button data streams as channels. These can then be recorded.

I can record the option screen but nothing else unless I add the red button streams to my epg.

Long Ball - You said "unless I add the red button streams to my epg". Have you done that? - it wasn't possible a while ago when I tried, because the HDR simply didn't 'see' the streams.

You have to install the channel editor (part of the modified firmware package).

Yeah, as Graham said install the Channel Editor or add the streams to the non-freesat mode, the Channel Editor is a lot better though.
