I wonder if Aliona is in the 'frame'?

She can't beat this year as a pro dancer so . . . . . .?

Not necessarily. they could just have her and Len trying to mark the old show while the producers take the show off in new directions and and there's even more confusion as to what its about. It would be very strange to have her back when she went because she was building up an anti-judge vote by commenting on some people's lack of dancing ability.Things have now gone a lot further with the emphasis on being entertaining and doing less and less dancing - that needs someone with a gentle coaxing touch and a general entertainers view

Actually Arlene in her theatre incarnation could cope with marking wider entertainment value - but she would have to be told to be sweet and gushing and not to mention the lack of dancing or to seriously criticise the bad dancing.

I miss her alliterations. Not But I would not mind having somebody with some credentials there again. It's IMO better to have somebody who appreciates the work than somebody for whom it's just a waiting room till a better offer comes along.

i wouldn't mind arlene back. there was never anything wrong with her in the first place. and she does know about dancing.

the only judge who i think is a bit past his sell by date is Len.

Yes, but what kind of dancing? She knows a lot about stage dancing, but she knew nothing about ballroom dancing before this show started, and had to hastily learn a few ballroom terms. And she probably hasn't bothered to learn any more than that. What we need is a former ballroom champion, like Karen Hardy or Shirley Ballas.

I know Len is supposed to be a former ballroom champion, but I had never heard of him before this show started, and I cannot find out exactly what he won. He is always evasive about the subject, which is suspicious.

Hi,

See links below should explain LG's standing in the world of Ballroom and Latin dancing!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Len_Goodman

Here is an article about his family background

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/t...e-preview.html

Len has an autobiography "better late than never "
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Better-Late-.../dp/0091928028

Love his or hate him, Len has had a long and illustrious career in dancing. There is nothing suspicious about his dancing background or awards.

Bruno said there might only be three judges in the next series.
