Lots of mentions of Lost, I hope it doesn't have too much in common with that show.
Having watched all of OUAT up to date i can confirm that any resemblance to Lost is superficial at most. More in common with Disney. Show of the year 2011/12 tv season both in acting and drama series and very likely to win all the tv awards next year.

Same format and similar soundtrack but generally it's not as dark and is more enjoyable.

i'm very excited for this to start, i saw the advert a couple of weeks ago, and have been waiting impatiently for this series to start! i've also been reading reviews in all the magazines and they have been giving good reviews, and the fact that it has done really well in the US shows that this is probably going to be an excellent series!

Watched the first few episodes at US pace.... just couldn't get into it..

Far too cheesy for me, but it's still great the channel 5 starting to air new genre show's instead of all the CSI's etc...

Once Upon a Time and The Walking Dead are huge state side...

It took me a while to get into it and I actually started watching the first episode and stopped half way through and didn't watch it again for a few weeks but now it's one of my favourite shows. I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

There was just a trailer for it during BGT on ITV.... Wonder how much that set channel 5 back?

Just joining in with this thread...

I have to say I'm unbelievably excited. I saw adverts for it when I was in Walt Disney World last year(there were posters all over their buses lol) and it looks brilliant.

Can't wait!

Looking forward to this tonight , am hoping it lives up to everything I have heard about it , My only fear is that season 1 will be so good Sky might try grab season 2 like they always seem to do when a show gets a decent following on normal telly

Ah, there was a UK thread, I couldn't find it.

There do seem to be a lot of trailers for it. They've put it in the same family friendly timeslot the US has it and I guess they're hoping for similar success.

I'm looking forward to it tonight.

Really looking forward to re-watching this from the beginning - I bet I've forgotten/missed loads of details.

4 mins in... You can tell it's Disney produced. But you can sense that somethng dark is going on.

Ok, having the Mirror Mirror ad there was weird... Bit like advertising Titanic the movie during the series!

So far so good. It's certainly got a Disney feel to it with some darker undercurrents.

"Truthfully the glass coffin gave me pause" cracked me up. Ginnifer Goodwin's doing a good Snow White. Robert Carlyle playing bonkers characters is always interesting.
