Do lovefilm cut films to ribbons?
I am watching Wilt on lovefilm and streaming and it's running time is 4 minutes less than it says it should be on IMDB.
I haven't seen this film for 20 years but i seem to remember a crucial plot sequence where he is at a party, gets tied to a blow up doll and then dumps it on a building site. That is kind of the most crucial scene that sets up the whole film. It appears to be missing in the film I am watching.

The running time of any movie on IMDB is the theatrical (cinema) running time.
Films are shot, and shown in cinemas, at 24fps but on UK TV and DVDs they are shown at 25fps - 4% faster. For a full explanation see here http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/article...PALSpeedUp.asp |

It turned out to be my faulty memory.
The scene comes toward the end of the film as a flashback not a scene setter at the beginning. I just thought I was going mad for a second. |
