Hey all, I'm really looking for you members out there to help us out.

I'm currently working close with a signer called Cecilia Mörnhed who is a Swedish singer/songwriter.

One of her latest tracks is called Stay (I'm Leaving You Today) & she is looking to 'crack' the UK.

Now I know you cant let me know if you like it without hearing it, so I thought ahead and made you a small clip.

Clicking here will stream a small clip of the music to your music player, or alternatively you can click here to download the sample.

Please do leave feedback, it is all noted and points are taken.

Not really enough there to form a rounded opinion on. But from what I heard I would say it is instant throwaway pop, maybe could scrape a hit in the summer with it. Not anything there to really distinguish it from any other pop wannabe is there ?

It reminds me of 'Mmmm Bop' by Hansen for some reason. Maybe if I could hear the whole song ......

Mmmm Bop was cheesy rock, this is nothing like Hanson, maybe you should check out some of her other music too.

Clicking here you will hear a track called R U Coming Back or What which also features her playing the guitar during the track. You can download the clip by clicking here.

The reason the whole song isn't on here is because of a few main things. Her music was posted on a forum when she was in a trance group Sector7Seven which was then stolen by another European producer which he managed to use to remix and release. They had no grounds to stand on because they couldn't afford legal aid or get the work properly copyrighted.

The only guys who are getting copies of the album samples seen here are jocks on reputable stations around the country, alongside B-Nation in America who are also playing the track networked on 20+ stations around the country.

Thanks for the opinion too, and Random Poster "staaaay, awaaaay, don't come to da uuuu kaaaayyy" isn't it obvious the words are those of the song title

Yes this is true, however you were the person that puty it out therer for opinions and therefore I assume you already like it.

I didn't actually dislike the litle clip, it just remonded me of the Hanson song. Bouncy and atch which is why I said it could be a summer hit. The second clip was nothing original and would be lost in the shuffle of all the other stuff around, especially as the more 'indie rock' sound is on the rise with bands like Keane, Franz Ferdinand, The Delays and The Thrils becoming the current flavors of the month

Well she's no Nina Persson.

Most of the Scandinavian acts who stand out have something unique about them - the comic arrogance of the Hives, the painful intimacy of the Cardigans, the wistful harmonies of Kings of Convenience. And - like Abba - the ones that get noticed are the very best in their field.

The clips are very short, but any of the great Swedish artists would have made a bigger impression in a clip half the length.
