Does your pet like tv and music?
If so, what do they like to watch and/or listen to?

Sweet! I can just imagine that a cat would like snooker, following all the differently coloured balls!

Whenever I'm watching TV my puppy always jumps up and sits on my lap, staring at the TV no matter what is on.

One of my cats like David Attenborough programmes too, with or without wildlife!
She'll sit there and watch the whole thing. She often appears to sit and "watch" other TV programmes but nothing grabs her as much as Sir David! The other cat likes the radio on when I'm out as he's a bit of a stressy and gets separation anxiety. Radio 4 works best at calming him (music just doesn't do it!) and I often come home to find him curled up right next to the radio.

My cat seemed to like CBB. He always sat up and diverted his attention to the tv when it was on.

My Dog Poppy likes any wildlife programmes but she especially likes Dogs ironically! Whether its a documentry or just a dog on a soap, she will sit there and put her head on one side. So cute!

No. Neither cat nor dog are interested.

My dog love Beyonce's Single Ladies and twists and turns her head in time to the uh uh oh bit. If it comes on the tv or radio she'll appear from where ever she is to twist her head along. Kesha's Tik Tok has a similar effect.

My Alan likes me to sing to him. I sing stupid things like 'little baby Alan is a cutey, cutey cat...'. He turns on his back and acts all soft. They'll come to take me away if I'm not careful!

Springwatch, Autumnwatch any wildlife programme really. She gets up and walks over to the tv and starts standing on her hind legs meowing at the tv. They had a family of foxes on Springwatch and she got up off the sofa and sat slap bang in front of the tv watching them. She has a thing for men with beards too, she also likes penguins.
![]() My partner has also got her watching Stargate and Star Trek |

Awww, some lovely stories! Bless
My cats take no notice but my 3 budgies absolutely love it when I have the American Idol music on! The chat louder than usual and just react to it! Even ones that I have lost used to chat to it!

My cat Twiggy likes to sit on the couch in front of the tv and follow the football around the screen when Sky Sports is on.
He also likes the sound of The Clash (Punk Cat! :] ), it suits him too cus he's a bit of a rebel. |

Neither of my cats like music. In fact, if I sing, Frazer leaves the room.

I thought pets saw something like a black and white flicker. Are the new breed of tellies more pet-sorbing?

One of my cats is Attenborough mad. The others couldn't give a toss about telly. They all like to answer the phone though.

My brother had a dog who loved television. Especially ball games. Football and snooker were the best; seriously that dog followed the ball.
She would watch the play and cry when the TV was switched off. Funniest thing ever. |

One of my dogs hates an advert on the tv recently, its the one on the BBC where you can hear bombs going off. She reacts badly to noises and barks for a good 5 minutes after hearing it. We're never quick enough to mute it unfortunately.

![]() And currently, our older dog (4½yr-old Staff-x-Lab) will happily sit and watch anything with animals in it. He also likes rock music... Well, it seems that way - wherever he is in the house, he'll come and lie beside me when he hears it. Maybe he genuinely enjoys the music - or maybe he just assosciates the music with the knowledge that I'll usually be sitting in a particular spot where he likes to curl up beside me. ![]() Quote:

My friend had a Rottie who was transfixed by the Corrie theme tune & would gaze at the TV during the whole episode
I had a horse who loved music on the radio I used to put my radio on a shelf on his stable & he'd stand with his nose resting on it eyes half shut - really chilling
