I have a Toshiba DVD player/recorder RD100 every night it do,s an automatic update and replaces a number of my preset channels,replacing all my deleted channels, also tunes into channels that are to weak to view.I then have to do a physical update and this brings all channels back.Any help please

It seems there is no facility to turn off auto update,except to unplug fron socket every day.If any one knows how to turn off this facility i would be gratefull
