Seemed to be worse last night around the time I was watching ITV1HD London and my BBC1 HD programme failed to record.
Still happened after I refreshed EPG too

.........linked to recording failures??

Today FRI 10th..Loose Women only recorded the last 8 minutes of the show..instead of ONE hour from 1230 on ITV..
Luckily the ITA player came up trumps so not too much grief..
Brand new 1 G humax fully UD and only 4% usage..Strange?

Have people who are still having problems done a power cycle at some point since this first started?

Anyone have problems with Countryfile and Upstairs Downstairs on Sunday, I only seem to have got the last 34 minutes for the latter and 20 minutes worth of Countryfile.

I assume the football overrun was the cause?

As far as Upstairs Downstairs is concerned the BBC screwed up,by sending the change of running status 35mins or so late. As a result if you were recording The Antiques Roadshow you got the first bit of Upstairs Downstairs on the end of that recording.

I selected record and series record on the "Dancing on Ice" results show last night, after the main programme had finished and about half an hour before the results show. The record flag appeared against the results show as normal. However it failed to record. Did anyone have a problem with HDR recording last night? This was from ITV1HD (London). Fortunately I spotted this before the repeat on ITV1+1 so avoided being relegated to the dog house!

Wild At Heart over recorded by 34mins resulting in a failed recording on BBC Two.

Slightly different scenario with mine: Humax HDR set to series record (1) Dancing on Ice and (2) Wild at Heart - both on ITV1HD. (3) Countryfile on BBC1HD.

Stopped the recording of the 1st part of DOI as we watched it - on the schedule list it was set to record the results show. Watched the Countryfile recording whilst it was recording Wild at Heart.

It continued recording long after Wild at Heart finished and I had to manually stop the recording at 22:15!!! The DOI results show was still 'there' in the schedule!

Had to delete the DOI results show schedule recording and start the series linked recording to next Sunday.

Gloom, so it looks as though the HDR ITV1HD recording problems are still with us.

As an aside, I also had Countryfile set up to series record on a Freeview+ box from BBC1 (SD - Hannington transmitter). This has worked every other week, but yesterday it started OK on time, but didn't finish, I had to manually terminate the recording. Probably no connection, but a bit of a coincidence.

Last night I had one tuner dedicated to CH4HD and one switching between BBC1 HD and BBC HD. Apart from the usual Top Gear overrun (which I stopped manually as I happened to be watching live) everything recorded fine. So another finger of suspicion to point at ITV1 HD.

Sunday evenings are pretty busy at the moment so my Wild at Heart (with its idiotic half past the hour start time so it clashes with two other programmes) recordings are relegated to my Freeview SD PVR.

It sounds like a problem with ITV and Wild At Heart been flagged to stop recording which has caused the issue, I HATE Wild At Heart as well so when I realised MY program had failed due to Wild At Heart it was nearly World War 3 round here!

I'd just like to repeat that I HATE Wild At Heart!!

I have never used Accurate Recording ever since I first had my HDR. I missed so many recordings due to the Stop/Start flags not being sent properly that I now always use pre- and post-padding. Just occasionally I get a 'Conflict' message at programme changeover time, but I'm expecting that and can cope with it. If I'm away on holiday, my Topfield 5800 makes a good backup system.

At the moment Sunday and Monday nights are manic, with both pvr's simultaneously recording two channels whilst we watch a fifth! It takes us until Saturday night to catch up.

Our Sundays are crazy, I think we had 17 recordings scheduled yesterday plus two reminders. For the week ahead we have 56 recordings due, thats not including the daily series link programs like Deal Or No Deal etc, so overall I think the failure rate is probably under 1%.

Can you elaborate on that? I record Top Gear on BBC HD and it's always stopped at the expected time for me (although the programme itself is sometimes 1-2 minutes longer than an hour, which Accurate Record accounts for.)

I had two programmes recording from a notional 8pm to 9pm, two from a notional 9pm to 10pm and two starting from a notional 10pm. I manually stopped the Top Gear recording to allow the Upstairs Downstairs recording to start on time rather than cut off the first couple of minutes.

Ah, I see Just checking as when I first read your post I thought you may be referring to some long-standing problem with Top Gear recordings not stopping or something. See what you mean now!

Top Gear over runs every week, I don't know why the BBC don't just schedule it for 70 mins.

Hi there. I too had a an over run Wild at Heart 1.34 mins, my box froze last night in the EPG, nothing was recording at the time did a re-boot which fixed it, was watching Homeland last night CH4 when it had a re-boot right at the end.
I posted on the freesat forum that my father inlaws box Humax Foxsat is faulty, no ch5 data then when I did a re-scan it wouldn't verify the post code and no siganl bars were shown, wired my Bush SD and the signal and all channels were there.
