How about Sue Menhenick as judge ?

Before anyone shouts "who", if you are either over 40 or watching the BBC4 TOTP repeats then you may know who I mean, She was a dancer in Pans People, Ruby Flipper, and Legs and Co. Do you think it worth suggesting her or would the BBC likely want someone of "now" or under 35 ?

I dont think there is any chance of the new judge not being a big 'name' anyone that the newspapers and most of the viewers who say 'who' too has no chance.

Funny you should think of that. I asked whether she would like to be involved when she was doing an interview for the Pans People/Legs and Co website. I was mainly thinking that it would be interesting to see her as a contestant, given that her best dancing days are long gone. She said that she would definitely be interested in judging Strictly.

However, she trained in ballet, tap and modern dance, not Ballroom and Latin so whether she would be be sufficiently qualified to judge is open to some debate. Lastly, I don’t think she is “happening” enough now to be asked, but if people make enough noise the Beeb might pick up on it.
