I think he surprised a lot of people this week, just by proving that he can actually sing. Even Simon thinks he is star material, so he must be doing something right.

i thought the children and the scarves aspect of the performance were tacky but he sounded good

I agree.

All the kids and scarves etc reminded me of Christmas day TOTP when I was a kid.
I was just waiting for the fake snow and Noel Edmunds.

Tabby is by far the best act in the competition IMO.

The only other act i like is V W S but feel they would not have much sucess outside the competition.

But that would have been down to sharon not him. Also it would not have swayed me one bit, if i thought he was bad i would say so.

Tonight was the first time I've enjoyed his performance and wanted it to longer.

Tabby is a very interesting case, IMO. I think Shazza showed real foresight in picking him, since there are so many people really warming to him now.

I really, really didn't like Tabby at all at first, but now that I've seen him with his charisma and energy and the fact that he CAN sing, I just adore his style.

I am so pleased to see I'm not the only one coming round to Tabby....and what's really nice, is that people are liking him more because he has talent, not because they're feeling sorry for him.

I thought Tabby was fab last night. He just looks the whole part.

I think some people are still scapegoating Tabby over Andy. Why don't you scapegoat Roberta instead? Now she really wasn't worth putting through, IMO.

Kewpee, you're doing a fab job here.

The fact that he has spawned 4 pages worth of such heated discussion should speak volumes

Thanks ZipGypsy I've liked Tabby from the start, I heard him sing 'Maggie May' on ITV2 and loved his voice. Last night he did a good job (even though it was a tad cheesy), and a lot of people, like you, have been gracious enough to admit that he may have something. There will always be those that don't get him, some because they don't want to.

He did a terrible thing taking Andy's place, even though he didn't personally make the decision

Yeh, I'll bet Tabby was doing stuff like nipping Andy, or setting out dangerous obstacles in his path at Sharon's house, knowing he was a real threat.

I like Andy
I dislike Tabby
If Andy wasn't there I'd still dislike Andy.
People don't want Tabby off because of Andy just because he isn't good at what he's trying to do.

Yeah, but we were just having a larf at some of the folk who can't mention Tabby and Andy in different breaths.
