The couples have been paired up and will skate to the same song (at the same time?
). The judges will save one couple; the other goes into the public vote. The public will save four; the other two take part in the skate off.

Actually I do the think the men are at a disadvantage in this because it's a lot easier to be thrown about and lifted up (ie the women) than it is to be the thrower/lifter (the men).

Yes - which suggests the same routine? So Jorgie has to look like a pro doing any lifts they do? It only makes any sense at all if Mathew is much more limited than Matt to cut back his pro's advantage - but then is Jorgie limited to doing what Mathew can lift? it looks a dumb idea if they both perform down to each other's limitations andf its unfair if the routine favours one.

two pairs skate and the judges decide which one is safe.
repeat 6 times leaving 6 safe and 6 up for the phone vote.
bottom two of the phone result will skate in the skate-off
