They were brilliant but that singing was lazy and the diction was awful!

Had to turn the sound off. She was flat as a pancake!

I have to agree - didn't enjoy the song at all. Maybe she was nervous? Loved Chris and Jayne skating though.

No one wants to see Jayne and Chris skate, they're past it

christine perry or someting like that singing "jar of hearts" or was it "heart of glass"?

Anyway, 2nd time i heard her singing (she sang on SCD) and both times she sounded awful and like strangled cats as casper said. I'm sure once she is autotuned onto a cd she sounds good with the song, but live she sounds god awful.

Speak for yourself. I know there are viewers who don't want to see them skate but there are also plenty of viewers who do. Personally, I love seeing them skate.

I just loved the dry ice mist effect as it reinforces the impression that Jayne 'n Chris don't skate like the celebs, they merely levitate over the ice.

She spoilt a lovely Jayne and Chris routine, she wailed like a banshee...

Agreed, she sounds much better on the song but I honestly don't think I'll listen to it ever again after THAT

Me too. They're still brilliant.

I did exactly the same. Why don't they have decent singers on? I hear that 1D are on next week - mute button in use again no doubt.

They should have Will Young and/or Joe McElderry on the show. Both have great voices and always sing live and in tune!

There are probably a lot of singers who wouldn't want to appear on SCD/DOI because they would feel they were playing second fiddle to the dancers/skaters.

I think so - i've noticed with Strictly a lot of acts now just perform with their own dancers. Guess it's a bit of a blow to their egos when the Skaters/dancers get bigger cheers.

She was terrible! I don't even like that song anyway. BTW am I the only one finding DS slow tonight?

Such a treat though to see Jayne and Chris - who'd think they were in their 50's

Loved the product placement of an advert for her album in the ad break after they'd announced Jayne and Chris would be skating with her, to answer everyone's question of "who on earth's Christine Perry?"

I really like that song but that performance tonight was dreadful. Jane and Chris were lovely though, shame it was spoiled.

first time i heard that song it was performed by craig on x factor

i really liked the song and tried to find it on line

every time she does it - it is awful.

What really annoys me is the fact that we missed much of Chris and Jane dancing because the camera kept panning to the 'singer' who I agree was awful. Why can't they just have recorded music to dance to and let those of us who still love to watch Chris and Jane do so without interruption.
