ColourB4 - Hair stripper

Use that then use Jerome Russell bleach (give your hair a rest first and condition it like crazy using cocunut oil and henna wax)

Go over with an ashy blonde hair dye (live salon style, pearl blonde is good)

Tone it! Use a deep purple shampoo/conditoner, leave them on for as long as you can before it goes too purple.

Dont do this in one go. Get a good trim or a couple of inches off your hair.

(I did it and my hair was very white and not damaged, just a bit dry thats all)

i've only skimmed through the thread, but if you're still wanting to go blonde from plum then don't stress if it doesn't go right first time. it will likely take a couple of attempts. i would also personally wait until it's in better condition, because it'll take the dye better. if you can afford it, maybe see if your hairdresser will do it? or just ask them for some advice, although they will just say "i'll do it" because... well, they'll want the money

edit: just read that you went brown instead. probably a better option, and if you might still be able to go blonde from there if that's what you're after
