January 1st
The square are in shock Over pats death with David's grief evident by shutting himself off in his moms room when they take her body away. Bianca is upset with her dads selfish actions which leads her to take it out on her mom with a few home truths dished out. Ian is also grief stricken but when the door goes its a surprise he will not forget. While this is going on Derek is orchestrating a coup of the arches from Phil and he starts his devious plan by getting a Couple of youths to smash it up and terrify Ben with a message that next Time it's Ben going to suffer unless his dad sells up.

January 2nd
Ben is lying in the garage in one of the cars as he is terrified that the gang who smashed it up are still waiting for him as he's lying there Derek leaves a message on the door of the garage saying "come on Ben tell your daddy" when Ben sees this he freaks out and just runs but to where ?
Ian is shocked to see Steven at his door but when he refuses to let him in Steven goes and finds Mandy who he manipulates into giving him her key as he enters Ian and him have a massive showdown But who goes to far?
Bianca is regretting what she said to carol but is to proud to admit it and with david still cowering in pats room are the butchers falling apart in grief?
Ben is walking round the square when suddenly from behind he is dragged into an alleyway by a hooded figure.

January 3rd
Ben walks out the alleyway with all his clothes torn and bleeding but when he says he was attacked people dont believe him as he has cried wolf to many times before with Phil not answering Ben decides to go home but when he goes in bathroom you see it was more than just a attack it was a brutal assault.
When David doesn't exit his mothers room still bianca fetches janine and micheal who break down the door to find David crying on the floor hugging his mothers pillow carol rushes to him and when bianca scalds him for hiding carol strikes bianca. How much more can this family implode?
When Steven dives at Ian and starts strangling him Ian struggles to get free but Jane who witnessed Steven going in the house hits Steven over the head with a heavy object, Steven is lifeless with blood pouring from his head. Is he dead ?

January 4th
The community are still in shock over pats death while there are still concerns about tamwars injuries with masood and zainab camped at his bedside afia is planning yusefs funeral when Lauren Whitney and fatboy come round and offer to take her mind off everything so they head for a night at rnr where afia drinks quickly when she goes in toilet she's offered some cocaine but will she take it?
With Jane in tears Ian phones an ambulance and police but when they come he hands himself in for the attack with steven In intensive care Ian spends the night in a police cell charged with gbh.

It's the day after the night before with Ian still In the cells jane is trying to cope with work at the cafe but when people start questioning her she just shuts the cafe n heads toward the police station will she hand herself in?
Afia wakes up In a strange bed after the night before horrified she gets to leave when the mystery man offers her another line the temptation proves to much and she says little does she no that tamwar as been rushed to surgery after complications.
Ben is still scared to leave the house but when he finally plucks up the courage to he sees the gang who attacked him being paid money by Derek when he bolts himself in his room Shirley notices the gang outside and fronts them up but is terrified when they issue a warming she will get what Ben got.

January 6th hour special !
With tamwar still In surgery masoods looking everywhere for Afia when he finds her though he is shocked by the state of her she's down off her high from the coke she was pitying herself with a bottle of vodka on the swings when masood rips into her for being selfish she just says if tam dies I don't care because my dads already dead because of your family .
With Ben refusing to come out of his room and Shirley scared about her warning she received Phil is angry about the mess his family is in but when he confronts the gang that are still about they just laugh in his face and later on when he walks past the arches it's ablaze but he can hear screams of a person trapped when he gets in there its one of the gang but they are trapped.
